Re: See you at Stevenage!

Hello, public service broadcast from my Boro supporting but Cheltenham residing pal: "I would recommend going up the A46 to Coventry then taking the A45 / M45 to join the M1 to Luton and then let the sat nav guide you the remaining 8 miles" Sounds left-field to me (and NB he is travelling ...

Re: Alan Wright's bath

Good shout, Ellis James is funny, his Swansea ep was great - bringing a nostalgia for lower league footie that we all know about. Some great insight into Bobby Gould there and throughout the pod.

Alan Wright's bath

Have really enjoyed Quickly Kevin will he Score - 90s football podcast, some great interviews and laughs... can any corroborate the Alan Wright bath story? He's a favourite 90s player on the podcast, mentioned now and again. The story is via an email to the show at 09:48 https://play.acast.com/s/qui...

Re: Fans back in stadiums

Interesting stuff. Not got the same enthusiasm for Barrow-in-Furness then? I do. I really loved the Barrow way game, despite the rain, when Asa bagged the winner during our Champions tour. I stayed for two nights. Saturday saw Parkrun in the fantastic Victorian park (also Isabel Hardiman of the Spe...

Re: Fans back in stadiums

Interesting stuff. The contrast between Bradford and Vale, the two biggest grounds in L2 19/20 is quite striking. Some on here have said we should upstage to a 10,000 capacity ground, just in case it is needed. If only we had! If Harrogate come up I hope away fan restrictions are lifted by the time...

I think 'utter disgrace' is a tad harsh...
If it wasn't for a bobble on the pitch at one point last night on of their players would had been one on one with our keeper! :?

I think they should do a send up with the whole team plus manager, kitchen staff and passers by running over the ball!

We ended their losing streak with another loss, "Cheltenham proved to be more muscular and used their experience to contain Kidderminster to end their three-match losing streak." Losers.

Lee Howells was one person who might have sensed a silver lining in relegation - no pleasure but a chance of a job at least... Can't see it myself but he's sure to apply.

Re: Bath - my thoughts

I think your assessment of Kotwica was a little harsh, he showed good touches and movement. He's only 17 isn't he? I don't think we're in any danger of him being too high in the pecking order... That said, I agree, more match time at a lower level wouldn't do any harm.

Re: Fans forum

I believe you are right about Man Utd and even Man City are worried about how they will fill their ground when capacity is increased despite one of the best footballing teams ever to grace these lands. However I bet if they dropped their entry prices ticket demand would out strip supply very quickl...

Re: Fans forum

Here's the thing about premium games, there is nothing premium about them. Too many times we've been taken hostage by these prices for games that haven't even been good. At the start of the season when we had three of them in a throw (Portsmouth, Oxford and Plymouth), the group I go with paid an ex...

Ex player Westlake

Heard on the radio at the weekend that Ian Westlake was playing for Needham Market in the Ryman Division One North http://www.needhammarketfc.co.uk/sstats ... php?id=128. Retired very early, I wonder why? Lots of injuries?
