Re: Rumour season opens
Taylor Moore went from on to have further loan spells with Blackpool, Heats and Shrewsbury, as well as a few more games with Bristol City. He's currently playing at the bottom end of the French Ligue 2. Hardly glittering progression. Cameron Pring on the other hand seems a regular in Bristol City's ...

Re: Robins Trust Email - Cheltenham Town: Building for the Future
Not only is the Trust represented by Dave on the board, it is also the third biggest shareholder. Great to see one of the major owners airing its views, and instigating and publicising activities to take our club forward.

Kinsella, Bonds and Pett (plus the Sercombecisor, if he signs) is some midfield. It's arguably mid table L1 quality.

Re: Jordan Thomas
He's a winger in a 4 4 2 or 4 3 3, which is why he was so effective when the shape changed second half.
It will be interesting to see if DC sticks with the 4 at the back.

Not sure I implied it was? So what were you implying? I believe he is implying that given the losses in FY2022-23 it is even more infuriating we let May go so cheap in this financial year - we could have done with selling May for £500k to get us back in the black in the next accounts. Or tried to h...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
Was one of those nights. We're not going to get points from every remaining game, in some we're going to struggle to look even a half-decent team. Six wins and a couple of draws is all we need now. Its going to be a bumpy ride.

Maybe they've asked for only 1000 ish, or maybe someone at the club is listening.
Will be interesting to see if we can sell out the CF on a Tuesday night with ECL on the TV (albeit with no English clubs playing that night)

Again - as poor a start as it was, we were only 7 points off safety when he took over. We were further behind a couple of weeks back. Maths and logic being distorted a bit. Not the same being 7 points behind after 11 games as being 7 points ish behind after 20 games Whilst I think I get the sentime...

Apparently Wigan have no available right backs or right wingbacks for tomorrow night through suspension and injury so talk that they're changing formation. Re: Sunderland 'til I die
I'd take Matty Taylor over Etete every single time. And possibly over Alfie too.
As much as he played a big part of aour promotion, Raglan isn't a patch on Freestone, Shepherd or Davies.
Mattie Pollock, possibly for Shepherd or Freestone.

If he keeps us up (and it's still a big if), he'll have both promotions and relegation saving achievements on his CV. That'll make his star shine bright with other clubs...thankfully he's on a longish deal

I wonder what standard of overall play the league of Ireland is feels more like lower league two top end of national league given some of fringe players go out and do well there. Go watch a game. Re: Spirit of Cheltenham EFL XI
Anyway, Bob Bloomer would be in my 11, along with Dave Bird, holding the midfield together.
Gavin Caines and Andy Gallinagh at the back. Grayson up front along with Damien Spencer. Book in goal.
I'll think of the rest later.

Excluded from the discussion? Really? Surely players like Duff, McCann, Butland can be discussed, even if, as is the case, the discussion is brief to discount them based on the criteria set.

If we're still in touch with safety by the time the Roofers game comes round, surely with some marketing, we can fill the CF with home support and not have to give them blocks 7 & 8.

What is every bodies list of 5 penalty takers in order if on the pitch. Mine is, Taylor, Sercombe, Nuttall, Long, Keena. So if we get another penalty does Keena take it? Would have thought Pett might take a good un. Taylor, Keena, Sercombe, Ferry and hoping one of those will always be on the pitch....

One difference though. Keena scored has at least scored a few (last season), something Connor never did.
Keena will come good. We've already seen how good he can be.
His attitude to front up to take the pen was top notch.

Oh FFS when is Lloyd going to get some luck. It was very, very tight. Not sure he was offside. Probably wasn't the way it's going.
