I'd definitely welcome MM back, was a big fan of his.
The club only went in one direction from when he joined, ofcourse m.duff turning out to be a great appointment helped somewhat!.

I believe that's our 2nd highest ever average attendance in the FL,I assume also of all time.only the 2002/2003 season beating it.

Can only see swindon needing the full 1500 allocation.
As for the rest it'll mainly be 300 or so.

"Darrell clarke we want you to stay",needs to be heard after the game no matter what the result.
Very much looking forward to the game, but obviously its odds against us from the very start.

Re: See you at Stevenage!
Our fan base has grown a little over the last few seasons.
I believe we average just over 3700 home fans this season which is probably the highest for quite some time.
Good to see fans getting behind the club gor this game.

A feeling of acceptance from me,I dont see how tonight will be any different to our last 4/5 home games.Plenty of huff and puff but a loss and relegation. Saying some goodbyes to the vast majority of players. The whole posh making loads of changes doesn't make a difference, they'll have a quality squ...

Re: Open Letter to the Board
What's incredible is how everyone flip flops from one extreme to the other at the drop of a hat. It's been run the same way for decades, as Paul Baker said on the Trust podcast - no outright owner, no one who can determine the fate of the club on their own, etc... In that time we've seen more succe...

When you have a manager and board of directors with a completely different transfer policy, and those opinions put out to all the fans through a forum........it doesn't end up with DC staying. Freestone, bonds, kinsella, street and taylor..... Id imagine sercombe will sign aswell. Keena dropping a level...

Re: Open Letter to the Board
The content of this letter is totally uncalled for and highly offensive to a group of directors who are giving their very best for the club. I just hope that none of them take it personally enough to up and leave their roles at Whaddon Road. The Chair was very clear what the plan is for the club; t...

Re: TONIGHT: 2023/24 Club Annual Shareholders Meeting and Fans’ Forum
A simple question.... How is the board supposed to invest money it does not have? For those who couldn't attend, Mr Bloxham was very clear that the board would not spend money that it did not have and that it would not bankrupt the club by going after some fanciful notion like a new stand at around...

It's a tale as old as time. After Tuesday, I should be raring to go for tomorrow but, even though I'll be there, I have pretty much no enthusiasm. I almost feel like if we do score and win I'll be a grumpy b#!#%#d still sitting down and shouting "it's a bit f#!$ late now!", even if it is ...

Whilst on the subject of strikers I thought the abuse nuttall received last night was well out of line.
Our club refused to reinvest the goodwin fee properly and ended up loaning a conference striker, have a go at the board not the player.

That's the form of the team we'll be welcoming to Whaddon Road on Saturday.
We're pretty good at ending teams poor runs,I wonder if we'll gift rovers a victory.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Amazed DC changed the formation in a game which was going to be massive in our survival hopes.
Clearly wasn't working after 25 mins and did nothing to change it. And it's cost us the game.
Saying that back to normal formation second half, despite being the better side we were never going to score.

Will take me a while to calm to calm down,I thought as I've got older a relegation wouldn't feel as bad as the others I have seen, I think I may be wrong.

Re: Stevenage away last day
Definitely over 2000 for notts county away, their average att that season was 6,200 and it was around 3000 higher on the last day so we'd have taken a good number. Only other game that hasn't been mentioned when taking over a 1000 would be mansfield away on a Tuesday night, both going to the autos and...
