Re: Matty Taylor going
A gamble that so nearly paid off and might well have done but for doing his ham. Earmarked last season to play alongside Bowman and then with Archer and Thomas playing wide he just didn't fit in the system. As others have said maybe an impact player at Rovers or perhaps Yeovil who will train in Bris...

Re: Major ownership development
Media would be put in a portacabin I'm sure, we are not the first club to build a new main stand. I'm pretty sure every club has faced this and not needed to play at another ground. You have the media in a portacabin. Will they see the match from there? You have not suggested where on the ground th...

Re: Free agents
I get what you're saying Robin but there are a lot more than 40 free agents out of work currently.
Some won't ever get a job ever again, but others will already have options, don't need to put themselves in a shop window and those are the couple of signings Flynny will be hoping to make.

Ruben Reid has left WSM and joined Weymouth.

Re: Free agents
As Robin usually says, we'll be shopping at Lidl on the reduced to clear shelf.
Historically I think the likes of Tony Naylor, Luke Varney and Kyle Vassell were late arrivals, so unless MG splashes some cash and we manage to offload Matty Taylor it could be a similar story this season.

He's still stalling.
Someone suggested this could be because Morecambe will be due a parachute payment from the EFL.
They wouldn't would they?

Re: Major ownership development
Want to support a club that punches above its weight and spends far more than it should on wages, plans a new stadium and hires high profile head coaches? Well there's one not too far from here that fits the bill nicely. Having read through this thread, there is nobody here asking for any of those....

To put this to bed could you let us know whether this has ever been discussed by the club and discounted for whatever reason. If...
