Re: Harrison Sohna

Sohna fits the ethos of us being an opportunity club. Promising players who’ve perhaps lost their way a little bit at bigger clubs given an opportunity to rebuild their career. Attitude will be the key factor.

Re: Former opponents

Bringing it back to CTFC, wouldn't it be great to have a player (I'm looking at you Jordan Thomas) who nets a similarly spectacular sum of money for the club in transfer fees and future sell-ons? Even 10% of a future sell-on would be £2m out of a £20m deal. And £20m is modest in Premier League term...

Re: Lincoln is an ambitious club

In what way? The 40% sell-on was in lieu of a fee that Palace would have been entitled to when we signed him last summer. Given he'd played a season in League 1 on loan with Shrewsbury the season before, I suspect we'd have had to pay them more than we're paying them now. We're also getting 15% of ...

What I find frustrating about this can be summed up in the population numbers for Lincoln and Cheltenham, and then comparing those figures with average League attendance for both clubs: Cheltenham population 116,000 Lincoln population 110,000 Lincoln City FC average attendance 2023/24 = 8,400 Chelt...

Delighted to hear it. Yep, I’ve contacted Tim about three times over the last couple of seasons with ticket issues and he has sorted them quickly and with no fuss. Legend (which means he’ll probably be off to Nailsworth shortly…..).

. I maintain we should have got more than £250k - the biggest mistake the board made was setting the bar too low. But we were never, in a million years, getting close to the rumoured £750k that he's likely to be going for now. If anything, the board should get some credit for putting a sell on clau...

I don’t understand the option argument. Surely that is no different to a contract extension or offering of a new deal? It’s irrelevant in the context of a player sale.

Max Wilkinson is a proper supporter. He was definitely a regular in the PRE until a couple of seasons ago. I last saw him at the Iglu bar before the Fleetwood home debacle last October.

Whether being a proper supporter means CTFC would see any tangible benefit from him being MP remains to be seen.

Elliot is off to Fleetwood, JP is reporting. Feel this one will split opinion. I’m a huge Bonds fan. Interesting move with Nathan Baxter there. Southwood had offers last summer but turned them down because they were for no.2 spots. Either he’s going to usurp Baxter or he’s now content with a back-up role.
