Tough to raise prices on the back of a relegation, but with inflation as it has been and costs increasing, it'll be really hard to keep them pegged.
If they do go up, there's going to have to be some creative pricing/incentives to maintain renewals next season.

Re: Farewells
I meant Bence and Murry Toms. Yes, you're right about PB. So, only two to replace.
We're left with Bloxham, Godfrey, Gowing, Murphy, Beesley.

Re: Farewells
Seems like good old Cheltenham Town can't go through a summer without turmoil of some kind. Two years ago it was the manager, last year the coaching staff. This year it looks to be the Boardroom. It does feel like fan anger with the Board is bubbling away and it won't take much to blow the lid off....

Seconded on Jamie Pardington. We got in earlier than usual today and watched him and Southwood warming up, I commented that it must be fairly disheartening going through a really diligent pre-match preparation week after week just to sit on your arse for two hours. How wrong I was today. What a humd...

Can’t lay any of it on the ref. Thought he was pernickety but fair.
The penalty looked soft, but no complaints from any of our players so assume it was justifiable.

Re: Stevenage v Cheltenham Town
A game that summed up our season. Lots of huff, puff and endeavour. Some bright moments, but ultimately powder puff in front of goal and prone to conceding at the back.
Proud as punch to be in that away end though. When the chips are down our fans are a great bunch.

Whichever way you go, get your scarf out of the window. That never happens any more. Used to take such pride in showing my colours as a nipper and spotting all the other scarves on the motorway. Hello, public service broadcast from my Boro supporting but Cheltenham residing pal: "I would recommend going up the A46 to Coventry then taking the A45 / M45 to join the M1 to Luton and then let the sat nav guide you the remaining 8 miles" Sounds left-field to me (and NB he is travelling...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
EDIT: I didn’t make it to Derby this season, so no personal experience of what happened there. Derby was slightly different because there was a choice - seats or standing. Stewards were strict at the entrance to ensure people with seated tickets didn't go in the standing area and vice versa, but on...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
Great point Leckyfan. There will be irregular away travellers tomorrow who may not realise the normal away etiquette of disregarding seat allocation. Could lead to some tension. I can only suggest you get there in good time and bag a seat near the front. The away stand at Stevenage is elevated so ev...

Re: No programmes anymore
It's funny - on hearing they're being stopped, I'm sad. But then, like Shade, I haven't bought one for years, so why should it bother me. This is the crux. We all have an emotional attachment to programme, but how many of us buy them. I’d be surprised if programme sales got into the high hundreds f...

How the hell can people use ‘traffic’s a bit busy down that way’ as a “reason” not to attend is beyond me. No dig at anyone on here, heaven forbid. Re: See you at Stevenage!
The club say “just over 800” more tickets allocated. On top of the 500 already sold that means we have presumably been given the whole end of 1390. If they sell out Stevenage can also make a further 610 seats available for away fans in the main stand taking the total allocation up to 2000. I could ...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
1400 allocation which can be extended to 2000 if needed. Plenty to go around.
Unfortunately, not really practical by train. You’d need to leave on the 0719 out of Cheltenham and make three changes. So, coach or car it is.

Good point. If I were looking to invest in the club, I would ask for the business strategy and plan as part of my due diligence. If they weren't forthcoming, that would ring alarm bells.

Bad news. Murry created the supporter services group after the awkward departure of Jenny Hancock from the SLO role. I do hope there are no further ructions in this area. We really need a bit of stability in supporter relations.

I don't think the issue was Mickey Moore going himself, so much as having no plan for when he did leave. At best, this was naive on the Board's part. At worst, reckless. I have spent today updating my succession plan at work. My team of 12 is relatively stable, at least more stable than a league fo...

The man overseeing either Town's swansong in L1 or the greatest miracle of miracles will be Lee Swabey We have a very decent record under Swabey over the last 5 or 6 years. A 4-0 thrashing at Portsmouth a couple of years ago aside, he's officiated in wins over Milton Keynes, Bristol Rovers, Gillingh...

CEO is an interesting one. I've been an advocate for it, but JP on a recent Robins Report said that the club actually already have a defacto CEO in Paul Godfrey. Not something that had occurred to me. The problem, of course, is that you're reliant on one individual going above and beyond which leave...

The Mira sponsorship strikes me as an epic act of altruism by them. No other comparable companies would have any interest in being our shirt sponsor.

If you’d landed from outer space and watched that game you’d assume it was two limited, but competent, lower half L1 teams, with the lads in pink and black just edging it.
And we had half of our best players out. An incredibly frustrating afternoon.

according to our more ‘radical’ fanbase on the socials there could be some anti Bloxham sentiment today, probably not the best idea to have a ‘prickly’ fans forum a few days before a vital few fixtures. could get a bit nasty if we lose. Noisy anti-Bloxham chants from Block 1. Some of them also gath...
