Re: Cheltenham Town v AFC Wimbledon
I actually heard someone say yesterday that it was like the WE days - I think some of us would love finishing mid-table in League 1 like we did under WE (but we're not allowed to mention that of course). As Shade says, the flip-flop from one extreme to the other is bloody exhausting. We win and we'...

Re: Match Fixing in the Conference - Great podcast
I am always puzzled why the finger of blame is never pointed at the betting companies for offering stupid bets in team games that are so easily manipulated by just one player. The amount of influence betting companies have in sport in this country and and politicians that lobby for them. That's why...

Re: not at it
saying certain players weren't at it on a matchday is as damming as you're going to get apart from actually naming names, I'm sure these players are well aware of who they are and the boss then coming out and publicly saying certain players weren't up to the required standard I presume is a first wa...

The problem is, you openly admit you're guessing, but people will read this and assume that you're bang on the nose and that it was definitely Sohna and Laing who he was referring to (I stress - you haven't said this). None of us can possibly know exactly who he is referring to because he deliberat...

Re: Grimsby Town v Cheltenham Town
Why do some referees feel that they have to wave a yellow card every time a player throws themself on the floor, squealing, writhing and clutching after very little contact from an opponent? This seems to occur more often when the players concerned are playing in front of the home crowd. Yesterday ...

Got to feel for Bradbury was bought in at great fuss but was never really a (starting) league one defender, not his fault he’s not going to turn down a jump from national to league one.

Re: Plymouth Argyle v Cheltenham Town
I think Bradbury will only ever be seen as back up for anyone who isn't a defensive team, or struggling towards the bottom of League 2. As mentioned, he's not the fastest, and his ball playing skills, although better than the likes of Raglan, aren't that great. Although I would say he hasn't let us...

Re: Plymouth Argyle v Cheltenham Town
I hate Plymouth. I hope they get smashed all season. Be the best thing Rooney's ever done, if they do. agree, I know a few plymouth fans who were constantly gobbing off that they're way too big for league's one and two but now they're in the champ and struggling they play the 'we've got the lowest ...

Does anybody know where I can purchase those very unofficial CTFC stickers? (you see them plastered around the town, pub toilets and the ground) I saw them advertised on Instagram once and should have saved the post.

Re: Catering - only half open
catering for a football crowd is one of the easiest operations to perform, it amazes me how it can still go wrong especially at this level of football. Do they not have any back up staff? I mean they know when the gig is going to be so would be an idea to have some staff on standby.

the two big welsh clubs seem to have a bit of form in relation to compensation and fee issues, I'm sure they can hide behind the tribunal and its process but pretty sure they can play this for as long as possible. if the lease is up (whenever) the club need to get in there and make a proposal to buy it, I presume they will need to approach the council but surely they can own it and have it still operate for the community in the week.

we've been relegated, the casual fan is not going to take a punt on any of our games unless we are top of the league and generating a bit of national media coverage. Its going to be a long, cold and lonely winter if we're struggling.

I was driving up the Gloucester Road yesterday and saw a huge CTFC badge on the billboard at the junction with St George's Road, I thought the Board had gone mental and organised it only to find out its a Sky publicity advert.

Re: who ate all the pies
I wouldn't be too please if I had "forked" out to sit in hospitality and someone who had spent £15 comes and sits next to me while they stuff their face full of a pie and a pint. hopefully all the crumbs and mess will be cleared up before the 2nd half starts
