Re: Twice in a week
Do you take exception with every generalisation and example that is used to make a point that you hear on TV/radio as well, or just this forum?! Allow me to try, and no doubt fail, to explain my point slightly differently; There are people in Cheltenham that think they're above football, especially...

Re: I hope by Friday
All this last minute stuff does not fill me with confidence. Reminds me of my own exam days, leaving the revision until the night before. That didn't end well.

I work with a couple of Romanians and they tell me nothing gets done unless some official gets a cut, even buying a second hand car.

What an utter shambles
I couldn't believe what I witnessed today. Our defenders made the Keystone Kops look like a polished and well honed Italian unit. The lad who was on trial was dire. Gary has got 6 days to pull a rabbit (or 2 center backs and a keeper) out of the hat or we are going back to where we came from. I can'...

Western Daily Press today
Lee Johnson has identified 4 youngsters at BC that he wants to loan out to get more experience.
Keeper, midfielder, wide player & a striker.
I wonder if any will come our way.

Believe me when Mark Yates leaves this club people will realise how good a manager he was. I think he'll learn a lot this season and I look forward to seeing how he responds next. Yes he makes mistakes and puts in the odd baffling league selection but if he didn't, he wouldn't be managing in League...

Re: WTF - Lowe gone to York?
I agree Shade, he took his eye off the ball once and won't do so again. He knows how to run a football club much better than any person on this message board and I agree, he should be left to keep running the club as he sees fit. Is that right? Consider the following. I work in an engineering envir...

Re: Ashley Vincent...
He's cr@p. Always has been. Always will be.
This is one of the reasons why Yates has to go.
It also brings into question Mr Baker's and the boards football knowledge.
How many of us would have blocked the signing if we had been the chairman? I certainly would have.

Re: YATES - Nail you colours to the mast don't hide
Will somebody please tell me which other manager left their top scorer on the bench after Christmas 2 seasons in a row.
This fact alone he deserves the sack. Misuse of valuable/costly resources.

Re: Todays Echo
I have been a regular at WR since 1971 but I have made the decision this coming season to buy a season ticket at Leicester Tigers rugby instead for the same price. Some of my reasons for this are as follows. 1. The prospect of another season of a poor playing surface due to ground share. 2. Poor mat...

Thanks Alf, we only need 10 of you, to sell your half million pound houses and we have the money Perhaps looking at the success that assisted retirement apartments have the club could put a few of those under the stand and then the residents would not have to walk round to the In2P stand they could...
