Re: Alec Carson 1942-2020
I remember the song well, although my recollection of the words is different. It was the mid 1960s and a bunch of us then teenagers used to sit at the back of the stand and would chant ourselves hoarse. Along with "attack, attack attack" and "give us a wave Adrian". The now sadly...

Re: Two Teams in Bradford

Two of their contracted players were staying in the same hotel, Graham Carr (comedian Alan Carr's Dad) and Terry Dolan. Both went on to manage in the league, Carr was Northampton manger for ...

Re: Barnet striker
Whilst I would love Akinde to sign for the Robins, I have a feeling he will stay in the London area and end up at one of Wycombe, Wimbledon or Stevenage. Here's hoping GJ proves me wrong!

Re: Steve Elliott
Surely the most important point about SE leaving is his persistent knee injury. You have to assume it will no longer stand the rigors of full-time training. At SE's age, getting over a knee injury takes some doing and will, inevitably, have an adverse affect on whatever pace he had. Fabulous player ...
