Re: Ben Tozer
Yes absolutely, a solid player but again needs to be used properly, I really don't remember him playing in a midfield against us before but I'm told he was playing in midfield against us at WR for Newport. I do remember him having a solid game against us a few years ago when he played at the back fo...

Re: 10 or so games to mould our future
I know the Johnson's got a cut of it but I wonder what they've done with the rest of it. Didn't somebody say a while ago that it was cheaper to pay off players under contract as opposed to them staying?

Re: We’ve never replaced Wright
Barnett has done fine overall and we need to keep him here beyond January but we definitely miss a Danny Wright type of striker, the thing is with Wright I don't think he was quite good enough for FL but when he came off the bench you feel he can do something whether that be score or chasing down de...

He has stepped up, it's some of the senior players who haven't stepped up that need to improve, I think he has done fine even when he's been used out wide.

Re: Russell Milton
Very good post cheltersfan and completely see all of your points but I feel Milton isn't up to it long term but has been steady when called upon, he's clearly a good AM but I don't think he'd be suited as a manager, I think if he'd have got the job and the club brought in an experienced assistant th...

RCS - I don't think anybody realised what Storer did at the time but after it came out he doesn't have a leg to stand on, I didn't go to the Exeter game but was told he put in nothing whatsoever to help the team, yes the player would know his effort level I agree but there were a lot of people shoot...

The Johnson's got a cut of the Eisa deal but very concerned about the rest, we need 2 central midfielders in in January, I do wonder if Pell and Winchester were still here would we be where we are, I think not!

Duff & Curle were neck on neck on some betting markets to be the new manager and if it had been me I would have appointed Curle, only because his teams are hard to beat and nothing fancy, midtable stability which is what we need but can see why the board went with Duff as he's younger and can po...

He doesn't deserve a chance after A) Putting in no effort at Exeter and B) Getting sent off for a headbutt. If he'd got sent off for a foul that was a debatable red card then we can forgive that as it happens but we cannot carry players this is Cheltenham Town not Man City, terminate the loan ASAP.

One of my favourite players ever, I still remember when he got back and tackled that Wycombe striker in the play off semi final when it looked as if he was through on goal, for a big bloke he was no slow coach.

100% agree Ben, somebody bottled it upstairs in the summer when we had the chance to part with Johnson and they've bottled it and look at us now.

We will always be thankful for Gary for getting us back but we have been absolutely shocking under him in the league and I'm glad he is now gone as it was beyond a joke, he is past it now infact quite a few managers who have been around for as long as he has are now past it at FL level.

A game we must simply turn up for or we will get heavily beaten, after watching us against Morecambe I am very worried as a good side that day would have done us on the break in that second half. We've got to turn it up and it has to start now, we need big performances from everybody and not just Lu...

Re: Looking over our shoulder
A sad state of affairs, A) Somebody bottled it upstairs and allowed him to continue as manager and B) Some of these players were signed with no plan in place of where to put them (Tozer) in particular. How he was allowed to stay on as manager after what he did the last two seasons was beyond me, I'v...

Re: Interest in Ben Tozer
Tozer was never going to be a like for like replacement for Pell, from having seen him play before his job was to screen the back line or play as a CB which I'm sure he played at CB for Northampton, I thought he would be good signing but again not really been given enough chances and I think like qu...

I don't think he's a great manager at all, average at this level, I actually thought he would keep Macclesfield up but hey ho, we took an age to sack him when we should have parted in that summer but we bottled it like we always do and coincidentally we should have parted in the summer with Johnson ...

We are screaming out for change in general, we've got to get it going especially at home, Kalala came on against Lincoln and went round two players within seconds of coming on and now he's been released, if it's down to attitude then fair enough but we are crying out for pace, Addai has to be an opt...

I find it hard to criticise Duff, he's inherited a mess from the Johnson's and they should be ashamed of themselves, they're gone but what they've left behind is a joke and it's becoming a worry now.

Re: Some thoughts on the Lincoln defeat
We have been so bad in the loan market it's laughable, we should only be taking young players on if they genuinely close to getting into their first team and not for the sake of doing so to make up the numbers, you want two players for every position of course but we need permanent players more due ...

I thought we didn't play badly against Lincoln but they were much better than us clearly and had the most solid team I have ever seen at WR, the two centre backs looked a forehead taller than Barnett! The best team that came to us in the conference was Braintree where the Cowley's were at previously...

That was very poor indeed and also tonight was a new low, getting a point at home to that heap of shite who if they were better going forward would have killed us off on the break in the second half. I thought Clements was decent but had nobody to pass to half the time, Barnett should not have taken...
