Re: Next 7 Games

Don't think League 2 is as predictable as some think. Very unlikely to win all 4 home games. Macclesfield on a reasonable run under their new manager for example so will be hard to beat. Would be nice to get more but realistically I think it will be a mixed bag and grinding out points. (A) Carlisle ...

Re: Top 5 players we have...

Winchester - heartbeat of the side in whatever position.
Mo - Natural goalscorer.
Dawson - Goalscorer and works very hard.
Flinders - Wonderful composure and ability for L2.
Atangana - The risky suggestion but has the potential to be outstanding at this level.

Re: Success from herein

Each transfer window we get a few more good players come in. It can't be easy attracting players with a lot of competition in league two. Last January we got Winch & Boyle, in the summer window we got Mo, Flinders, Dawson, Sellars, Nige, Graham. Now we are seeing some more players come in who I ...

Don't know much about him but if it frees Winch up to play in CM and Taylor can move to RB then its definitely worth a try.

Re: A new start?

Glad others are sharing my view of Nige as I thought I was going insane. In pre season I thought he was excellent and then it well went downhill with injuries and fitness. I do think he could be a vital part of this team for a long time to come. I am liking the thought of a middle three of Nige, Mor...

Re: Sellars

Get Sellars on another year, ideally two if we can afford it. At the very worst, he is going to be a good solid League Two player. It's highly likely however, that he will be in League One next season and we could do with a chunky fee to use elsewhere if it's not with us. I wonder if we have an opti...

Re: Billy Waters

Pell and Waters seem to be experiencing very different seasons - one having moved on and one deciding to solidify their position. Billy likely to have got a chunky pay rise though so not all bad for him. Also, likely to be able to drop back down to league two with relative ease either on loan in Jan...

Everyone take 20 pens. Most scored takes the honour. If 2 or more score the same amount, keep taking until we have a winner.

Re: Our midfield

Not sure we should be expecting a win in any away league game at this stage. I would take a point against the new manager bounce and keep the unbeaten run going. Win would obviously be fantastic. Its unlikely that the teams in the bottom 4 now will be there at the end of the season.

Re: Bookies

The form lines are beginning to tell. League two is a bit of a graveyard for form lines this early on (and later on too to be honest) but you can build a reasonable picture. Strong performances away at Accrington, at home to Mansfield and narrowly edged out against a flying Newport suggests that we ...

In. No use pressing the panic button yet. We are not getting thumped every game. Could have easily been four or even six points from the last two if we had been more ruthless. I know that is part of the game but there is some luck involved too (see Newport's goal). The defence looks really capable a...

Not sure you can play Eisa and Holman together with the amount of long ball that's get played in League Two. Don't think I've ever seen Cranners play a ball on the floor and he's been our best defender this year. I would have thought one of Graham and Wright need to play. Tonight I would pick Graham...
