Re: TONIGHT: 2023/24 Club Annual Shareholders Meeting and Fans’ Forum
Been to worse grounds this season such as Fleetwood, though food queue probably the longest ever. Have to say fun police head steward must be proud of himself, does he also burst all his neighbour’s kids footballs when they arrive in his garden.

Re: TONIGHT: 2023/24 Club Annual Shareholders Meeting and Fans’ Forum
All businesses have a plan or a vision whether that be short, medium or long or all three. What came across was we appear to have no plan. How can you attract investment otherwise. I’m sure the Chairman’s heart is in the right place and best intentions but getting stroppy when challenged with a fair...

If you’ve not seen the non handball in the Leeds game have a look and then wonder how he didn’t give that one but gave one against Lewis. Si I think you’re probably right it got pointed out he was wrong last time bound to be in his head if he got demoted to a league one game.

Duff said when he took over there were too many players as some stood on the side lines in 11 v 11 so how come the chairman didn’t realise this now when we’ve reached 29 and has to be told by interviewees. All feels all too nicey nicey and chummy at CTFC. Just feels like making same mistakes as the ...

As opposed to the steep stairs and lack of hand rail for the last few steps where we saw one guy badly fall. Maybe the safest way is not to sell bottles but that would get in the way of profit.

The bottle caps enforcement I do find irritating, not all places enforce it. It’s the choice of reducing the risk of being used as a missile or being knocked over and then someone slipping over. I can guarantee if I leave the bottle on the floor it will be kicked over by people walking by my seat. P...

Be interesting the club’s view on this. More money for clubs won’t necessarily mean better facilities for fans or cheaper tickets. Look at the premiership it ends up meaning higher wages for players. Have to see how this plays out invariably more attractive league one clubs will be on tv. I do watch...

Awful game. Nothing on the bench that the manager feels could change the game other than the usual substitution of bringing Jackson on. Is it we can only afford 1 or 2 new players or does the manager and Director of Football think we only need 1 or 2. If it’s the latter then we’re in trouble. Can’t ...

I normally buy a drink at the kiosk and some food occasionally but after standing there for over 20 mins Boxing Day I didn’t bother yesterday. Don’t blame the staff but having to cook chips with a tiny fryer just backs the queue up, no longer serve burgers but sell pizzas! Just needs a rethink espec...

Just felt like this result has been coming for a while. One up front at home really isn't positive and must admit I was expecting Norton and Brown to start. If we struggle to score against Alvechurch then how are we going to score against the better teams in League One. Alfie I wouldn't have risked ...

When we're 2-0 down with one sub to go and looking like we won't score and no substitutions are made then I think that sums up what Duff thinks of the bench.

Apologies if I've missed this but what exactly is the £5 for and does it apply per season ticket? Ok it's only £5 when I'm paying £385 for my ticket and £145 for my daughters but it's more the principle with saying price freeze and also are we now employing Ticketmaster to sell tickets rather than e...

Another cynical side visit Whaddon Road, they were happy to continually take one for the team. Thought we played some nice stuff, much better with pace in the team. Much worse when two up front, improvement needs to come from midfielders who need to get forward more and support Mo whilst not leaving...

Any away game where you really make the effort to get there and the team don't seem to bother, Blackpool away last season or Exeter. First half played ok but not ruthless enough or maybe lucky enough in front of goal. Second half hopeless, Pell up front never worked or looked like working, Hinds given 10 mins. I know a few will say first game of the season, Gary trying to sign players etc. But you really have to look at the facts. We've lost 2-1 to a fellow relegation favourite, we can't name a full compliment of subs, Holman is subbed on post 90 mins, we've not had enough options to change things to brin...

Like a few on here I'm in the slightly concerned camp. Having seen us fall apart at places like Exeter and Blackpool I was hoping we'd see good recruitment to address the issues of last year. Time always makes us forget the flaws of players and it's impossible to comment on players we've never seen. Keepers in league one will face better players than the Southern league but possibly protected by better defenders. The keepers we have had are playing at our level because they're missing so...

It's recruiting the right players young and experienced in the budget we have. The best survival was League One 2008 when we recruited 2 experienced in Alex Russell and Steve Brooker and Richard Keogh who was a young but good footballer.

You only have to look at York to see what could have happened last year. Should the worse happen, it's a long way off, but which manager would you want to get you out of the Vanarama well I suggest that man is Gary Johnson.

It's a dilemma for clubs at our level. The cost is high but finding that one young player who makes it could generate enough times over to pay the cost for several years. As we're finding young players get picked off early when the fee is low so do we take the money now because success with future a...
