Re: Rumour season opens
"I've heard a few things, let's see if they come true but the return of Moore as DoF and George Lloyd potentially to another league one side not too far away seem to be doing the rounds. Worryingly nothing much on the incoming player side." Why is this "worringly"? We have just b...

Please, let's put this bed NOW. We can surely rise above belated petty stuff and infighting. Look back on this thread... It's now anal.
New season, new start. That will start with a double please from me to you.

Re: Open comment to the board
I have had enough of these posts. Still in mourning, but we go again. Open letters, posts, etc. should be immediatly referred back to the arseholes that posted them.... Cheltenham Town are my team. I think we do have a plan and/or an ambition. (That's semantics). Generally they equate. We want to be...

RCS - Thank You. But thinking on, if there was printed version I would have bought into it. It was a bad example to cite. It was a game few could attend. You really need to have been there. But, happily, there are people like me on this thread. I do agree that both the home and away programme conten...

Am very much on onside with these. 3) Any result is not the result or fault of any individual player 4) Win or lose Darryl Clarke needs to be offered a long contract and this... "Darrell clarke we want you to stay",needs to be heard after the game no matter what the result. I just feel thi...

Re: No programmes anymore
Like Horlick, I have a couple (I think) of 'Robin's Reviews'. I do always buy a programme - if I can get one..! As ever, some are better than others - BUT, sadly, nowadays, the away programmes tend to give less away team content than they used too. For me still - it's a bit like an 'in-the-hand' rem...

Forest - who have admitted to collectively 'cheating' over finances now accuse an individual referee of the same. My mind is scrambled. Do they not also have a point deduction appeal soon...? Please relegate them.

Great result and, given ther fare over the last few weeks, I thought we were really quite good tonight... Pretty good perforfances across the board... Nuttall and Thomas especially; both threatened. Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Si Robin... Good observations above. On the whole I thought Nutall did OK. For me, inspite of the Radio Glos praise for it, I thought the big tactical change for this game was wrong. Second half better - BUT we do know (of old) finding the goal, and/or better still scoring one, is generally hard wor...

The horns of dilemma... Stand and get do to get see the key moments. Or sit behind people who want to stand up all the time (but with obviously limited occassions recently). Keep the standing areas. Supporter numbers help... You also need to show some respect to the supporter base. Though I do, increasingly, tend to understand the idea of supporting success with the overspend - but I will always question the throwing one's hand up when it goes pear-shaped. For most years it was a non-league Che...

I've not yet written off staying up. That said. League One, League Two players, and a surprise or too. Then the key factor. A good manager - who seems to give a toss. We have that proven.
We can still do it. I'll leave it that.

I still struggle to see how enhanced non-match day income at Whaddon Road will rise enough to justify the rebuilding of the Grandseat.
