Re: Steve C Fav for FGR manager
Steve would never take that job. He won’t risk his CTFC legacy. Duff also mentioned. Potential career suicide if he goes there. Neither man would get on with DV. Both are alright for a few ££ so they won’t take the first job that comes Clarke certainly isn’t going there either. The FGR bubble has bu...

Re: Approach for Micky Moore
Well this is a bomb shell. Hard to see why he would want to go there unless he's been promised some major £££ in salary and playing budget. If he does leave it's an absolutely crucial role that needs to be filled properly with the right person as the role is essentially running the entire football ...

Re: We go with what we have
Nothing personal, but Pell is a bang average L2/NL player imo. Shows the odd glimpse of something, but he’s massively overrated here. He’s a good character and that’s carried his football career. It’s no coincidence he moves on after a season or two. Glad we haven’t resigned him, it would of been a ...

We have signed players in the past that have done far worse without so much of a ripple of complaint.

1st home game was Burton Albion in the Beezer Homes League. Lost 2-1 and Neil Cutler was in goal.
First away game was the same season at Meadow Park. Won 2-1 I think Christer Warren scored the winner.
Not sure on the year maybe 93/94?

Re: Duff Watch
One worry with may is that we convinced him to sign a new deal when others were clearly interested. I've wondered since then maybe we put a release fee in,duff will more than likely know that release fee...... Player, Agent, interested Clubs will all know of any release clause. It’s not confidential.

Happy with Smith. Good partner for May and We aren’t going to be able to sign a 30 goals a season striker. JP has tweeted a Premier League loanee is expected also. I'd be surprised if it's Reilly. I mentioned a few weeks back that we were chasing a permanent signing who Duff/Wilcox wanted to score the goals to get us promoted. I've not heard any names though. Hats off to Duff, no panic signings here.
We have power, pace and potentially a lot of goals.
A bit more creativity in midfield and we could be onto a winner this season....
