Re: Bishop's Cleeve v Cheltenham Town

We do need two more forwards I would think but I'd expect one to be a loanee. Probably need three more centre backs and left wing back cover. GK - Evans/Day RWB - ABW/Kinsella LWB - Haynes/NEW SIGNING CB - Bradbury, Bennett (3 NEW SIGNINGS) CM - Pett/Pell, Young/Kinsella, Thomas, Archer SC - Taylor...

Reports suggesting Southgate might revert to 3 at the back v Switzerland, as I suggested a few posts ago. He had success with it at World Cup 2018, but keeps changing it and trying to play 4-3-3, which never looks as good, probably because the defence looks vulnerable and they're all s#!t scared of...

 I think they should adopt a version of "umpire's call" to cater for ridiculously-marginal decisions where the on-field call stands if offside by, say, <10%. This is what I think too. Make the line say 15cm thick, anything within that line you stick with the on-field decision. That ...

Denmark have been absolutely robbed by VAR. First a goal ruled out for being a toenail offside, then a penalty awarded to Germany for a ball smashed into the defenders hand from point blank range. And to top it off, Havertz completely stopped during his run up for the penalty! Think we can all agree...

The issue for me if it's Lee Johnson or Downes is it becomes a bit of a 'Johnson and his mates' club, a bit like it was with Mickey Moore before that all came crashing down.

Not to say it wouldn't work, but I'd feel happier with a different name as head coach.

'twatting about with the likes of Oldham'. I could pull out the "Ah s#!t, here we go again" meme, but I'll at least wait until we see who the head coach is. I don't think this is as bad an appointment as DoF as the initial overreaction claims it to be. In fact, right now, I'm not displeased at all that we have someone with his exp...

To be honest, although it's made me question what year we're living in, we could do a lot worse. Will have plenty of contacts. Paired with an up and coming coach like Devaney, it could work.

Good strategy - keep quiet about DC's departure until enough season tickets have been sold, then dump the bad news on us afterwards.

Im sure the fans would rather go to Crewe than Crawley, so...whoopie. Definitely a big shame seeing Crewe lose a play off final...:P Was weirdly similar to our 2012 final as well. Sunny day, 1 down at half time, sealed with a late goal. Although I remember us playing better than Crewe did today.

A game that summed up our season. Lots of huff, puff and endeavour. Some bright moments, but ultimately powder puff in front of goal and prone to conceding at the back.
