Re: Essential Information for fans travelling to Wimbledon on Saturday
that main stand at Wimbledon is exactly what we need 8-) Yes, very nice-looking 3-tier construction. Surprised they didn’t make it wrap around at the northwest end, like it does at the southwest end. But otherwise, splendid. They already have planning permission to expand the capacity from 9,215 to...

Fitness and physicality
Our new manager clearly thinks more needs to be done to get fitness and conditioning levels up, and be less "soft" physically and psychologically. Is there the expertise internally to improve this? Or should we be using some sort of armed forces "boot camps"; or (perhaps more acc...

Re: Gloucestershire football attendances
I think Northampton Town and Exeter City get on average about a third of their rugby clubs' attendances. (But Northampton is almost twice the population of Cheltenham, and Exeter is 15K bigger.) Agree re the need to market CTFC better, as I know quite a few Cheltenham residents who go to watch the r...

With us, Plymouth, Exeter, FGR, B/Rovers and possibly Swindon too, the South West will be well represented in League One next season.

Burton are not much bigger than FGR and they have survived up there on tiny crowds so clearly it can be done. Much relief - but there has to be change to avoid the same situation next season. That's on and off the field.
Some questions:
1. Are we able to attract the right players?
2. Is there really an appetite for the game in the Cheltenham area?
3. What level can we realistically sustain?

Looking at their fans board and their reaction to McGurks interview in the Citizen, I'd say they're in deep trouble. Lurching from crisis to crisis, and no light at the end of a long tunnel. I'd love to see us back as the sole users of our pitch.
But I reckon Gloucester City haven't got the money to build a new stadium....maybe to do the demolition/groundwork, but beyond that....
Probably why there's this silence on their part?

Looking at the rugby club's reply in the Citizen, it seems they haven't had any approaches from the football club, and they suggest it wouldn't be an economic proposition for either party. That digital radio map the BBC has posted a link to above is rather optimistic. It is a map for outdoor coverage, not indoor where most of us listen. And whilst my new car came with a digital radio, the Forest coverage is truly dreadful and certainly nowhere near what is shown on that map. The same ...
