Re: Cambridge United v Cheltenham Town
Positive changes at half time have worked. When GJ made subs that worked he apparently didn't know his best 11... :P GJ decided to use a CDM at ST, and often brought on defenders when losing for his subs. Not quite the same as subbing on a new signing ;) Brilliant result. Gets us going now, shame o...

Re: PB says GJ sacking "crass"
I've made it very clear on here i wanted Johnson to go. So in that regards I am happy HOWEVER- he will go down as a hero for what he did for us getting us out of the conference, steadied what can only be described as the titanic when he came in. It's almost sad it got to the point where a hero becam...

With morecambe scoring, am i right in saying we are the only EFL team (not including prem of course) not to score a goal in the league?

The god damned ball just won't go in. Has a witch doctor put some kind of spell on us? Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
9 losses in 10 games, is it 5 wins in 26 games? please explain to the "angry mob" why keeping this man is a good idea? that is beyond relegation form and would be set for one of the lowest points totals in recent years if that continued. Like i said, I can respect your/anyones opinion on w...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
Im a season ticket holder, and if he's managing for our next home game i am debating not going. I've had enough of his awful style of play and his stupid decision making for substitutions. SO disappointed that the board has YET AGAIN shown no backbone and no ambition to change whats very clearly wr...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United
At least this should spell the end of Johnson.. Shame it ended so sour with his stay here but it was painfully obvious he should've gone last season, im very disappointed the board took the easy route and kept him on, allowing him to cause more damage to the club by giving him another transfer windo...

Re: stick or twist?
Twist. I find it mind boggling he wasnt told to walk at the end of last season. Such a shame we have to have at least 3 more games of utter tripe before the board would even consider getting rid. I mentioned it before- but it feels like more of a chore/punishment to go watch us play football these d...

Re: Tranmere Rovers v Cheltenham Town
Should've got rid of Gary a while ago now. His record with us in the league is absolutely awful. I don't think there is any way to defend him anymore. I don't care if this is the 1st game of the season or the 40th, who watches our team from the first game (which was diabolical) and makes ONE change?...

Here come the loans again. I wonder which team we will go to for the players...! Lee will be showing the training ground and reserve game DVDs for Gary to pick from after Sunday dinner this weekend. See i think he just puts 10 names into a hat and Gary gets to draw 3 out, and that decides the yearl...

Individual ratings: Flinders - Couple of decent saves in the first half, not hugely troubled in the second half other than a few half chances (7) Baldwin - He did ok I guess, looks like a centre half playing right back and not sure he's better than Forster but can't really criticise him either (6) ...

Id take him back here, The whole training scenario might have just boiled down to a falling out with staff members at the time or even just the manager Was a good player when he was here and id be more than happy to see him back in a cheltenham shirt. I like how cooper had to throw in this- "and for him it is purely about the ambition of Forest Green Rovers and where we want to go." Ahahaha. money grabber. I can accept everyone else's view on him moving due to a short career but it doesn't cut it for me personally. Hope he gets an awful...

Re: Winchester move confirmed.
I always find it amusing this notion of player loyalty. He quite rightly does what he feels is best for him. When a player is released in the summer supporters never say 'the club has shown no loyalty to the player' because, quite rightly, the manager is doing what he feels is best for the club. Wo...

Re: Winchester move confirmed.
How can anyone not have hard feelings to him???? He's going to a local rival, who will also try to challenge for promotion next season. I don't give a damn about "short career", he has shown no loyalty and he is simply chasing a pay packet. For that reason I am glad he isn't staying at the...

Will miss pell but based on performances he won't be hard to replace. Seems like his mind was elsewhere pretty much all season (although he has been played out of position nearly every single game)
Just hope we have accepted a respectable bid and not something stupid.

I voted out. I have no confidence in a man who plays everyone out of position to get "recruitment right". We've said this now for 2 years, nothing but respect for Gary for the work he has done for the club but its time for a change now, I think if we kept him we'd finish similar again whic...

Shocking today. Sellars is far too lazy to be in our team. Unless he is willing to sit on the bench majority of next season i just wouldn't offer him a new deal, he's far too predictable as he's so one footed. As for Pell. If we get offered 200k again for him ill drive him myself... no point in keep...

Ive been so split over GJ this year. But i think he has now crossed a line which we can't ignore anymore. Falling out with fans, players, poor tactical choices. I think its time to say our thanks to Gary for his incredible work but send him on his way. Our home record has actually got worse from las...
