Re: Since being in the EFL 1999
Can't think we've played a league game on a Monday night, just Easter Monday afternoon's. Have we played a play-off game on a Monday evening?

Well, if we're sliding into whisky tours, if anyone finds themselves in the north of Scotland, Glenmorangie is interesting...
Can't stand the stuff, personally. Whisky, that is. More of a Disaronno and Jagermeister connoisseur...
Anyway, Brostil Revors tomorrow.

Re: Advertising
'Odd' in that I've never seen the CTFC FB account openly advertise *any* products. Not sure how you felt that I found it 'offensive' - I was just making the point. Thanks for the explanation, Si! They’re often promoting the Carabao energy drinks I've never looked at the ingredients but I expect a f...

Re: Advertising
It does seem odd for CTFC to advertise it but if alcohol is allowed to be sold at the ground for profit I don't see why we shouldn't be able to advertise it online. But as Si said, it's an EFL thing. Jameson's no doubt pay the EFL and the EFL instructs the clubs to run the adverts as part of the ove...

Indeed it would, and would stop a lot of unnecessary speculation on the internet. Yet another case of the FA failing to wipe its ass.
Presumably Scarborough can claim back their costs, given they have had to play two games and travel to Nailsworth for nothing, and now have to stage a second home tie.

Partly down to Swansea and MD both being set in their ways. If you remember, when Duffo came in here he was adamant about the way he wanted to play, the system he wanted to use. 10 games without a win changed that thinking before stumbling on the formation that worked (reverting to the 5-3-2 that we...

Re: If you ever think OUR defending is bad...
I just looked at the League Two table as they were up in the top 2 not too long ago. I see they're now 6th after 3 defeats in the last 5, but they have conceded 36. That is equal 3rd worst defence in the division! Matched by Swindon (8th) and Newport (15th), and only better than Sutton (24th with 40...

Nigel Anatanga in 3rd round with Eastleigh I always thought he was quality suffered from injuries and the boo boys Atangana! Elastic legs, but a bit fragile. Re: Blackpool
Why would an ineligible player in an FA Cup game lead to a points deduction in the EFL? I don't know if it will but, as above, if it's to do with the keeper, presumably they've also been using the "emergency" keeper in L2 when they shouldn't have and they will have broken League rules too.

What did yous think of Caleb Taylor? We have been linked with him on loan, how did he get on here? Trust me, you want him. Better than Hector was when we had him donkeys years ago when he was on his way up, and he's better than him now. He should be playing for a lower Championship club this season...

Frustrating result, if fully expected (I predicted 2-1). But some positives from the match to take forward.
We deserved something from that.

Inclined to agree. Giving them everything last 20 minutes.
Ferry with the "handball", not Bevan as Halliwell seemed to think.
Two goals for May, what a massive surprise.

Can we just not have Chapman try to do anything in the final third... He's been alright but final balls, shots, crosses...under 10's produce better.

Inch perfect ball from Sercs and a no-doubt header from Goodwin.

I guess Appleton hasn’t done his homework on May then, given he was going backwards being played wide at Doncaster and eventually found his feet up front with us. Also, just why would you play the second highest scoring striker in English professional football this year out of position?! Let’s pray ...
