Re: 5,125 attendance
Going back to the original post, wasn't it nice to have a game that was entertaining in front of a big crowd for once? I might be wrong, but recently when we've had a bigger crowd in, we've generally frozen, or the game has been pretty dire. Hopefully might see a few more coming through the gates on...

I thought Barnett and Addai were outstanding today, but credit to the full team as everyone put a shift in. If we can match that performance for the remainder of the season, we should have nothing to worry about!

Maybe the 30 or so consistently chanting anti Johnson songs was making it too toxic an atmosphere to continue with GJ.Robin wrote:Then WHY sack Gary Johnson last night if we are forced to have Russ in charge, make no mistake we are a lot worse off with Russ than GJ.

A lot of pressure on young shoulders, but maybe the management are happy enough with what they've seen from George Lloyd so far, that they think he'll step up well next season.

The fans singing 'we want Johnson out'... Never been so embarrassed to be a CTFC fan. Some of our fans seem to think we have some kind of right to success. Yes, this season hasn't been great, but we are 16th, 12 points clear of relegation. Grow up. Agree. I thought it was absolutely pathetic. Unfor...

That's what happens if you don't have a roof. All the atmosphere created just dissipates into the, um, atmosphere.

Watching his interview I take it as a bit of a back handed complement that he openly admitted they had to change the way they normally play to try and win. If a club with eyes on winning the league is having to do that against us, then we're doing something right!

Well, we were lucky not to be 4 or 5-1 down at half time but we kept fighting to the end and got our rewards. Strange performance today. I can't remember a game where to a man, every player was equally as woeful as the next. Hopefully however, it was a freak one off, and the majority of performances over the last couple of months would suggest it was exactly that. Not sure I agreed with the amount of booing...
