Re: Clements
I don't disagree, i like Clements and when he plays well we play well. My only concern with Clements is when it isn't his type of game and he's not getting on the ball, the game passes him by. Although the points tally in recent weeks has been very good we have had an awful lot of changes in the mid...

Re: Promotion
It's great to be in the mix, if we are serious contenders we really need to take something from Bradford tomorrow, 3 points would be a statement of intent. As a previous poster mentioned, Varney and Reid's fitness is key. If we can get these two a run of games then we've every chance of a playoff sp...

Re: Important information for Forest Green Rovers match
Pathetic circumstances whatever the truth may be. Is it correct that the complete stand will be open but only 1200 fans can attend, which will look very poor for our highest profile league fixture. Why don't the club just close off 40% of the stand with the netted segregation? Very frustrating with ...

Re: Some thoughts on the win at Walsall
Do you think it was a pass? It looked to me like Reilly was trying to take the defender on and get to the ball himself, only to realise the Reg would get there first.

Re: Forest Green Rovers tickets now on sale
A great shame for the 1887 army who have behaved impeccably to date. The club need to have a look at this, can we for once try and prioritise our own supporters and for the benefit of the team. If i recall correctly many of our supporters were held back at their place to avoid fans mixing whilst lea...

Re: 2,702
It's a shame, but those lads wont be allowed in that area for FGR. They'll be behind the goal. They cant have the same effect behind the goal. Maybe another area? I would question why they have to be moved, we know FGR will never sell out behind the goal so just put netting in the away end and have...

Re: Chelt v Swindle
A decent advert for the Division. In my opinion i thought that Swindon looked a bit sharper on the ball than us and posed a greater threat, playing between the lines with good intent on their passing. Whereas our build up was at times a little slower and more predictable, having said that it was sti...

I though the allocation was around 1,050?
However the bigger clubs who have visited here have been given up to 1,700 in the past.

Re: CTFC v Forest Green Rovers and OTC 29th December 2018
A shame if we are still to be without both Maddox and Broom, however we haven't done too badly without them either. Good to see Dawson back in the mix but this will come too soon for him, FGR are probably favourites, i'll go for a score draw.

To me he seems to be very raw but a good option from the bench against tiring defenders.

I wont be bothering either, terrible facilities which are in my opinion the worst in the football league for visiting supporters. A horrible chairman and a load of kids singing about Cheltenham fans "running away" from them
Not for me.

Re: Russell Milton
Russell Milton comes across as someone who loves and cares for the club, he ultimately wants the best for the football club and he wants the job as manager. I hope we keep him on in a capacity which suits all parties. I would fully expect him to get the opportunity to full-fill his managerial hopes ...

Re: stick or twist?
I have always been of the opinion that we were fortunate to have GJ and that he would turn things around this summer with a new squad. I appreciate we are 2 games in but we look even worse off that the previous season, at least we had a goal threat about us last year. My opinion has changed, for me ...

Re: Some thoughts on the Crawley defeat
That was frustrating to watch, Tozer and Nige are not a good pairing. Neither offer enough going forward, i think Tozer is a good squad player, but we need better than this if we are going to score and create goals from midfield. Our formation was alarming, beginning with two strikers before droppin...

Re: PB blanked in FGR board room
The real question is WHY? Why did Dale Vince blank Paul Baker? I don’t know the answer as does anybody else on the Robin’s Nest, but I suspect it goes back to the Elliot Frear episode where both FGR and CTFC were stitched up by Frear’s agent. Baker turned to the press for mega-publicity on this iss...

The highlights tell the story, we were wasteful, had we won 4-1 no one could have complained.

Anyway, we move on.
What we did see on Saturday is their football team is actually not very good at all and they could be in for a real struggle despite the recent upturn in results.

10 minutes of pure domination, other than a shocking mistake for their goal.

Your stance seems very odd, so this behaviour would be perfectly acceptable in a City against a bigger Club, but must not happen in Nailsworth. First of all, I am not convinced the allegation is accurate. However if the unlikely allegation is correct and this happened then of course there is no plac...

Re: Embarrassing
I've been travelling away with Cheltenham for over 20 years, many on here would far exceed this. The experience was dreadful, from the stewards, to the facilities it was all below par. I certainly do not condone anything which may have gone on before or after the football, but from what I can gather...
