Re: Rumour season opens
Ryan Bowman leaves Shrewsbury - werent we interested a couple of years ago? Yes we were and no thanks now. He was in the Hereford team we beat in the FA Cup 12 years ago. He also scored one league goal last season and guess who that was against  Given that it sounds like he would fit right in!

Do you remember when it was me and RCS         We can reminisce the old times luxuriating in block 7. I do actually think that if you can prove you have no social media presence and are over the age of 40 and a home owner, you should be able to bring your dri...

Re: Darrell Clarke after Stevenage defeat
You said, and I quote: "...you could also argue that Paul Bence opted against the actual appointment Wade - and I don’t need to remind you of how that appointment went." It was pointed out by asl that his appointment was actually quite successful until the board failed him in the summer. ...

Re: Farewells
Taking the emotional speculation of what he did and didn’t do when he left, it is a sensible move if there’s any truth in it. A real inflexion point for the club at the moment and there’s logic in a) filling that position and b) filling it with someone known and to an extent ‘proven’. Personally no...

Re: Stevenage v Cheltenham Town
Thought Pardington did remarkably well seeing he’s only played a handful of senior games in his career. Noted that his contract runs out this summer, as does Southwood, and Max Harris too I believe. If DC moves on, good luck to whoever sorting out the No. 1 for starters. Larne who he came from has ...

Re: Farewells
DC will be going, DC has restored a level of confidence within himself, he will now be seeking a greater salary and bigger budget to work with. A great shame but he will leave the club and it looks like another season of rebuild. I have heard the rumour reference to a return of a former director of...

Re: Season tickets
A couple of my personal thoughts on ST prices in the CF. I would be happy for the CF STs to stay the same price but would like this to be accompanied with a decision to make the whole concourse available to home fans for every game. Then ST holders get to actually enjoy the facilities. I wouldn’t a...

Another summer of fun ahead. Why anyone pays any attention or gives credence to anything that is said on FB is beyond me and am surprised that anyone would give up a passion due to it. Am not on FB or X so can only presume that the comments he refers to were personal attacks on himself and not the u...

There was a fanzine in the mid-90's. Would have been '94 or '95 when I went into school on a Monday morning and my teacher had left his copy from the weekend on my desk for me. Stashed away in the attic somewhere at the moment but the front page was something about "Rushden Anne Diamonds"...

Anyone know who the clubs are at our level who own their own grounds? It's murky but I understood Derby and Reading did own their grounds but that was moved to companies under their former/current owners. Portsmouth, Lincoln, Northampton and Wycombe own their grounds based on a google search, inter...

I'd keep him on if we can, but it's been mentioned elsewhere that he's paid more than we can afford at Oldham, so he's probably out of our price range. I think he's looked a real asset last couple of games, with further room to improve you'd expect. If Oldham were willing to get him off their wage ...

Tavon Campbell and Joss Labadie in the Solihull Moors side that beat Halifax (who included Luke Summerfield) 4-2 in the first of the National League play offs tonight. What a strange post. Someone doesn't agree with your idea so you attack them completely. I agree with Shade and Oldun, the board shouldn't pay for fans to go on Saturday. We're supporters - the clue is in the name. If you can afford to go and have the time, then get there. If you can't, then no jud...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
The club say “just over 800” more tickets allocated. On top of the 500 already sold that means we have presumably been given the whole end of 1390. If they sell out Stevenage can also make a further 610 seats available for away fans in the main stand taking the total allocation up to 2000. I could ...
