Re: Cheltenham Town v Accrington Stanley
Amazing save by Evan’s at the death there but what the absolute f#!$ hell is our defence doing giving up a free header in the 96th minute when we’ve got 10 men back, yikes Stubbs was marking Rawson but did a poor job. He was brushed aside allowing Rawson a free header. Luckily Evans did a great sav...

Re: IFollow audio pass for Chesterfield?
And, just for completeness, if I jump through these 8 steps (I can do it faster now!!) AFTER connecting to an overseas PoP on my VPN, the options offered are: - Monthly Video Pass (30 Euros) - Cheltenham vs Fleetwood Video Match Pass (£10 - sic, shurely some mistake?!) - Cheltenham vs Fleetwood Vid...

Re: IFollow audio pass for Chesterfield?
Why should I need to use a VPN for an AUDIO pass? AFAIK the audio pass on iPlayer has never been geo-fenced, and was freely available from the UK (unlike the video passes). And I purchased an audio pass okay the previous week (when the audio feed from BBC Glos finally got connected 11 minutes late)...

Re: Success and Failure
When a new team is put together, the first criteria is to ensure that you are defensively sound. So far you could say that is close to being achieved with the games lost have only been by one goal. The next criteria is to control the game for most of the time. This seems to be getting better with lo...

Re: IFollow audio vs Salford
It has definitely changed this season. Last season it was just the Radio Glos broadcast that you heard, their commentary and their crowd noise mike. It now appears to be two different streams that are being broadcast simultanously and somebody somewhere has to get the balance right. With all the cu...

Re: IFollow audio vs Salford
Its so bad. The sharing with the BBC radio just doesn't work. They kept going to Steve Kitchen at Bishops Cleeve but we couldnt hear him. Its a joke. Missed nearly 15 mins at the start then they had the affects mic so loud they were drowned out. Bunch of amateurs and its very frustrating It has def...

Re: Match Fixing in the Conference - Great podcast
They can, but it’s the fault of the criminals (including the player) not the bookies. Do away with the temptation, the problem is solved. So close all shops to avoid the temptation of shop lifting? It seems that particular form of theft has accelerated with the advent of self check-outs at supermar...

Re: Match Fixing in the Conference - Great podcast
Not sure you can blame the bookies. It’s only because of their investigations and analytics that match fixing gets caught. Having bets on people being booked, time of first yellow card, first throw in, time of first corner can all be manipulated easily by one player. They can, but it’s the fault of...

No commentary again through the first 20. All I want is to have the radio on and listen while doing other things, why is it so difficult to get the setup right? Its a shlt show week in week out. I wish Halliwell and Matthews would concentrate on the task rather than the nonsense updates constantly ...

. - the 3-1 success last time being the largest margin of victory, when a certain Alfie May sealed the win and the did a weird flappy bird dance My main memory from this game was, remarkably, not AF’s celebration but the significant minority of AFCW fans who kept the stewards busy with some pretty ...

Great. Now delete your post where you openly admit you'll be breaking the law  Or terms of service. I'm not actually sure if it is illegal if you're paying and pretending to be abroad. It does seem to a very grey area as you are not depriving the EFL and the club of revenue. You are not using ...

He gets the year we played Man City wrong. De Bruyne played as well apparently (he didn't). Apparently 3-5-2 was entirely his idea, Duff only wanted to stick to 4-4-2. He claims we tried it against Arsenal and won 6-2 (he says 6-3 but nevermind), which was correct, but then drew 0-0 with Ebbsfleet,...

The tactics from England are so safety first, it is unbelievable, In the last three games I have been counting the number of passes back to the keeper in the first minute of possession.
