Re: Lincoln City v Cheltenham Town
Awful performance but they happen. We're currently a mid table league 1 side. For every game like this there's games like beating Charlton and Sunderland. Have to say I thought some of our support were absolutely shocking today. Constantly berating the players. Booing off Chapman. Chanting "F**...

Re: Callum Wright injury blow
Crikey talk about overreaction.
We've lost a good player. We have another very good player who plays the same role (who was actually Duff's first choice)
But nope season is over now and we are going to lose 10-0 at Wigan tomorrow.

Re: 7 points from 5 games ?
If my maths is correct we will be basically promoted if we beat Colchester on Saturday and Bolton beat Morecambe We'd have 78 points. FGR and Tranmere at this point can only reach 78 max. Morecambe would only be able to reach 78 max. So while we wouldn't have that beautiful letter P next to our name...

Re: Official RCS Countdown 2020-21
So if Morecambe were to drop points against either Oldham and Grimsby and beat Bolton then that's a dream scenario.
But in a simple sense. .3 wins from the next 3 and that's us up all but mathematically.

Re: Official RCS Countdown 2020-21
We could theoretically be here in 10 days time celebrating a promotion. The highest total Morecambe in 4th can get is 81 points. If we win our next three games which as we know are Crawley on Friday, Stevenage on Tuesday and then Colchester next Saturday, we would have 81 points meaning we'd be all ...

Re: CTFC vs Crawley Town Sat 17th April 2021 Away
The statement from the EFL mentioning time rather and date says to me that they're definitely just being moved to a different time rather than postponed.
My prediction is 5:30 kick off.

Re: Official RCS Countdown 2020-21
Another way to look at things can be in terms of points target. These are the maximum number of points the teams in the promotion race/play off picture can get: Cheltenham-98 Forest Green-97 Tranmere-96 Newport-93 Exeter-92 Carlisle-92 Cambridge-91 Bolton-90 Morecambe-89 Salford-89 Crawley-89 So as ...

Re: Official RCS Countdown 2020-21
Grimsby (A) April 5
Leyton Orient (H) April 10
Crawley (A) April 17
Stevenage (A) April 20
Colchester (H) April 24
That is 5 games we should be targeting maximum points from.
Not a guarantee of course but getting 5 wins from those games will be a mark of champions.

Re: What now?
I still don't understand the talk of "we will not have a chance as good as this for a long time now." Despite the way it all ended we are a club on an upward trajectory. Most people myself included would have been happy with continued progress and a top half finish. Had we finished 8th wou...

Re: A display of withering ineptitude
The biggest fear for me is that is incredibly hard for the players and fans to come back from. It was simply so unexpected and crushing to confidence. Teams have suffered worse and come back from it. Remember Forest in 2007. Second season in League 1. Expecting promotion. Yeovil in the semi finals,...
