Re: The most positive thing about our 3 home games....

Yes that is very true and why it is so important that the club try to build some sort of connection with those fans now when that are still coming rather than wait until the numbers inevitably dwindle when the weather turns and if we aren't in any sort of playoff contention. Re: Cheltenham Town v Harrogate Town

As has been stated by most, first half turgid and a million miles from the high energy, high press MF stated is his preferred style of play. The introduction of Archer definitely improved us in terms of energy and pressing. So pleased for Bradders, MotM by a mile for me even before the goal, just a ...

Really good question and I think there are going to be loads of different suggestions and none the same! Re: Michael Flynn after win at Newport

Agree Shade. Now we know what we have to work with this season, until January anyway, we quickly have to decide what our base formation is with this squad whether that be 4 at the back or 5 (in my opinion we look better with 4 so far) and eight or nine of the starting 11 that go pretty much every ga...

Re: Newport County AFC v Cheltenham Town

Really well played in 2nd half against 10 men. Knocked it around well and used the extra man to full advantage. Great to get some end product from JT and Bradders again making it more confusing as to why he constantly gets frozen out so quickly with a MotM performance for me over the 90 mins. Nice £...

I think the players of yester year were as fit but just in a different way to those today. Now we have 5 subs how many players actually play all the minutes? Back in the day with one sub and smaller squads they had to play pretty much every minute. Also, I may be remembering through rose tinted spec...

tbf those games in the 60’s were total dog5hit and light years away from todays football matches. Mostly I would suggest, because they were not given the luxury of playing on the manicured bowling green that today's mob get to play on. Also they were not given the protection from the ref that today...

Re: Cheltenham Town v AFC Wimbledon

Worst game of rugby I've seen in ages!!

Second to everything, bullied in midfield, no service to the front at all. Stubbs looked solid and Bakare and Laing did ok under the physical barrage but very disappointing overall.

Long season ahead on the evidence so far.

Aiden Keena came on as a late sub in the Conference League for St Pats last night. Seems to be behind a 16 year old in the pecking order there though, albeit one who has some big expectations on the other side of the Irish Sea.

Really not sure what to make of this right now! Assuming he comes in either tomorrow or, presumably, for Walsall, who drops out? Maybe Bennett moves forward into holding midfield? Of course he may not come in straight away? It's a long season and we have little to no cover in defence. We prefer to ...

Decent effort I thought, shame we conceded 2 late goals which makes it look a lot more comfortable for Plymouth than it actually was. The concerns though were also obvious, with both wing backs bombing forward it left loads of space ...

What I find frustrating about this can be summed up in the population numbers for Lincoln and Cheltenham, and then comparing those figures with average League attendance for both clubs: Cheltenham population 116,000 Lincoln population 110,000 Lincoln City FC average attendance 2023/24 = 8,400 Chelt...
