He’s going well, and had a really good game on Friday - but he’s had his share of poor / anonymous games too.
I wouldn’t say he’s a cut above this level yet at all. A full season here and then see what next season brings - please.

Looks like there’s still one game to play - Rovrum v Bradfud next Tuesday, so expecting the draw to take place after then.

Re: Michael Flynn after Harrogate win
The Manager needs to clear his mind of negativity before outing the players. He says he is not in a popularity contest after a win.Seems he was miffed at the fans reaction to Tom Bradbury who he wanted gone. He moans about missing players and yet we have a big squad- he has yet to figure out his be...

Re: The Screamer
No-one seems to have passed this particular memo on to our opponents, as we seem to concede more than our fair share.
Max Bird from Derby was an impressive one to be on the receiving end of in recent seasons.
May’s second v Peterborough screamed so loudly. Couldn’t agree more.

Re: Michael Flynn after Harrogate win
What f#!$ hill. Your playing on one of the best kept surfaces in L2. My be Flynn and the analyst need to get to the bottom of why some players are blowing out of their arsenal after 15 minutes! It`s very obvious some of them are not fit and certainly lack the athletisism expected of a proffesional ...

Re: Michael Flynn after Harrogate win
Can't understand how he doesn't see how s#!t Scot Bennett is. Comfortably our worst CB. Don’t see that tbh. There’s 3 of them so always going to be one that is the “worst” but didn’t think any of them had a shocker. Bakare fills me with fear, and an over exuberant celebration on the opening day can...

Re: Newport County AFC v Cheltenham Town
It’s not always easy to play v 10 men so good to see us handle it properly in the second half. Also so good (and surprising) to see us work some chances through the middle, as well as down the flanks (easier with 1 man advantage of course). Pett was a steadying influence even if his passing radar wa...

Yes. MF just doesn’t strike me as a man delighted with his situation. Given it’s the beginning of the season and a new role for him, that’s worrying.bigdavejambo wrote:can anybody see Flynn walking and GJ taking over as manager?

I believe the away fanzone was not open either, despite Iglu tweeting on Friday that it would be. They then tweeted apologies on Saturday morning.
Some challenge there it seems. Hope they get them resolved as they have been good so far (last season).

Completely blown out of proportion. Saying some players weren’t at it is a simple observation of 1 half of football.

Hmmmm, hope he’s good and ready now CJP. We can’t afford to carry young uns or have them ‘learn the ropes’ too much on our watch. We are not in slumber. There have been other deals signed or renewed as well as the ground sponsor. Not bad for a relegated club. Season tickets are at a League Two high. The hospitality offer has been changed to a much better deal. The new shirt and other kit is selling well. More will come. I bel...
