Re: See you at Stevenage!
I haven’t considered parking yet but I am always happy to walk as far as necessary for a bit of exercise. I can’t imagine it’ll be a major issue with less than 5,000 in attendance. I did go to Stevenage many years ago, I think we beat them on penalties after a 0-0 draw (probably in the FA Trophy).

Re: See you at Stevenage!
I could see us getting close to the 1390 if it wasn't in such a God forsaken place Perception might be worse than reality. 2 hrs 20 via the A40, so roughly the same as Exeter. True but we all know the reality of travelling down the A40 and getting passed Oxford There’ll be no traffic at 10am. I thi...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
The club say “just over 800” more tickets allocated. On top of the 500 already sold that means we have presumably been given the whole end of 1390. If they sell out Stevenage can also make a further 610 seats available for away fans in the main stand taking the total allocation up to 2000. I could ...

Re: See you at Stevenage!
I thought the away end at Stevenage holds 1400 and more tickets can be given to bigger away followings…. It’s a nothing game for Stevenage so there will be plenty of space in the home ends. Hoping they give us 1400 and we fill it!

Re: Cheltenham Town v Peterborough United
Also, didn’t Peterborough sell 1000 tickets? So it seems that the Chelt fans had given up before tonight…. According to GloucsLive, Posh took 309 fans + 3,564 home fans = 3,873. Fair enough, pretty poor show by them although I know there was not much riding on the result. I assumed they were bringi...

See you at Stevenage!
Brilliant effort tonight boys!
So obviously we need to win on Saturday. If that happens and Cambridge lose - we stay up!
If we win and Burton draw - we stay up!
Just need the boys to turn up and put in one more shift… if we win and it’s still not enough then so be it.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Peterborough United
Big if, but if our score and the Cambridge score stayed the same we could finish above them on goals scored (on the same goal difference) if they lost on Saturday. Equally if they lost tonight and drew on Saturday it would be the same result. That is obviously assuming we win tonight and Saturday…. ...

Re: Open Letter to the Board
Rather than blaming the board or the manager or the players, why don’t we look at ourselves? And by that I mean the Cheltenham Town fanbase. If we had 6,000 home fans instead of 4,000 we would have a far bigger budget to be competitive at this level. The board recognise and understand that we could ...

Re: tinker man and next season
DC would have known when he joined that there was a good chance we would be relegated. I’m not sure we can read too much into speculation at this point. He has done an excellent job whatever happens this week and I really hope he stays.

Sounds like Peterborough are going to field a reserve team so all we can do is win that game and go into the final day with some hope.

Re: Peterborough - home tickets
Seats haven't been selling out and it hasn't been packed. There have been large pockets of unfilled seats, and the reason we 'run out of seats' is the away team get blocks in the wymans stand. Bristol rovers and others also populate the 'home end' to swell numbers. We can sell a certain amount, eve...

I also see Lincoln as our hardest game - they have been on fire recently.
Does anyone know whether blocks 7&8 are being sold to us or to Lincoln fans?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
Why has the form, confidence and everything else drained away from what DC had to what he doesn't have now? Granted we havent ever been on fire this season but we have looked a threat, scored a few goals and won a few games under DC. Now I think if we played anyone we would lose. What has gone so b...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
Despite what some will have you believe, we'll have one of the lowest budgets next season regardless of what division we're in. The club is skint and has no facility to make money outside of football itself. Staying in League One every season is a miracle. And that barely 4000 Robins fans turned up...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
So, would you not play Lloyd? Who would you replace him with? I was in fact supporting your case that there is no point in getting on the players backs as it seems to be purely the case that they are not good enough for who we are playing against. As far as GL is concerned, he opinion I was putting...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
I’m with you when it comes to Cotterill - his best days are way behind him. I regard him like a lower-league Mourinho but the players aren’t listening any more. He has done quite well with certain teams recently but nothing to suggest that he would be able to get us promoted next season.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
DC needs to stay, it’s not his fault we are where we are. He has absolutely nothing to work with. You can’t give the other teams an 11 game head start. Port Vale losing just delays the agony and if we swap places with them we are both going down anyway. The only team we can catch now is Burton so an...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers
That’s it now, we are down for sure
I don’t think it’s that the players don’t care, it’s that they resigned themselves to relegation several games ago. The club is broken now and no miracle is going to happen.

Re: Leyton Orient v Cheltenham Town
Well, the next three games are make or break. Re: Peterborough - home tickets
If the club wants to stay up shouldn’t they be doing everything they can to help the team on the pitch? If that means a bigger balance of home to away fans which could tip marginal decisions in our favour then surely it’s worth a gamble because the potential loss of a bit of income from a few unsold...

Re: Peterborough - home tickets
Any reason why Cheltenham can’t/won’t install a resale system for season ticket holders who can’t attend? There are certain teams who never have an empty seat (Spurs/Everton/Newcastle/Liverpool/Chelsea) because they all get resold. In League One the only team I can think of who consistently sell out...

Re: Peterborough - home tickets
Also, what if we give Peterborough and/or Lincoln blocks 7 and 8 and they only sell 100 or so of the 500? Then it would be a really bad decision. Or do these clubs have to buy all 500 tickets off us meaning they are the ones making a loss if they don’t all sell?

KEENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Huge win but horrible results round us. Vale currently look best placed to avoid the drop, although we had three wins in a row not long ago….. Felt like we had about 2000 at Notts that day but hard to say although we made plenty of noise. We took 1300 to Southend on the last day of the season when we were first pushing for the playoffs and 1800 to Plymouth when we went up automatically but other than Forest Green I don’t recall us taking m...

Re: Teams around us - Thread to season end
We really need Vale to beat Burton today. Doesn’t matter which order we are in the bottom four, we have to keep fifth bottom as close to us as possible. I’m fine with Vale leapfrogging us today because it would mean there are two teams above the drop zone within four points of us instead of one. Com...
