Job Vacancies

CTFC are looking for both a media manager and a marketing manager. Neither advert specifies a salary range, only that it's 'dependant on experience'. Maybe it's different elsewhere but, in my IT industry, that would immediately raise red flags that they couldn't afford me and I wouldn't bother apply...

Clarke banned for 'highly violating' act on opponents: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/ar ... 2ljl57ge7o

Still some way to go to reach the standard of the rugby player who was banned after he inserted his finger into...well, I'll leave the details...it's well before the watershed...

I hate to be that "problem for every solution" guy but, whenever it gets mentioned about putting temporary terracing in the Canteen area, my immediate thoughts are that the security tower has to have an uninterrupted view of the whole ground - and could you realistically have a food kiosk ...

Re: Leicester tickets

Despite all the Premiership talen on show that day, Finners was the best player on the pitch. Honourable mention for Gavin Caines, who kept Shearer in his pocket, thus preventing him from scoring a landmark goal he was only one short of (I forget what that was, but he got it a week or so later).

So we've had people confidently claiming the tent was paid for by the EFL and others claiming with equal confidence that it was paid for by Sky.

Anyone understand yet why I get so p1ssed with people stating opinions and guesses as if they were facts...?

Re: Cheltenham Town v Crawley Town

I'm not saying they didn't, incidentally: I have no idea. But, on the face of it, without evidence to the contrary, it would seem to be more on Sky's interest that the game go ahead, than the EFL's.

We just need there to be two teams worse than us at the end of the season. Right now, I'd say there's at least Harrogate (despite us failing to beat them), Newport and Shrewsbury. I'm not including Rovers cos, as soon as he was appointed, I thought Evans would turn them around (unfortunately).
