Re: Thomas

It's an interesting one as our "sticky" spell coincided with his injury or thereabouts - 1 win in 6 without him. 2 wins and a draw since his return. Maybe one of these underrated players who helps the team tick.

I haven't been to as many games this season but have noticed this exasperation from others when i have been there. ...

Re: Incoming

I agree with a lot of this. The reality is most L2 sides will have a few long term loan signings making up their squad. Whether you like this conceptually or not, it's the way football is going. They may already be lined up in which case just filling a team with trialists is pointless. Surely giving...

They do but in 160 + games he has scored about 20 goals as a pro. For me, it's where in the pecking order he sits. If it is to come and be 4th choice and offer us something a bit different i'm fine but I would lose no sleep at all if he went out. I'd be happy next season with Waters, Varney, Barnett...

Well he also said he can't afford to keep everyone (well they we couldn't sign anyone if kept everyone)

Mullins will be off as I'd have thought he would be one of top few wage earners.

The usual rationality I'd expect to see from the Nest. It's rare we win four on the spin at home so not sure we have to do that! Equally the sides around us are also playing each other so we could arguably play about four or five more games and not pick up a point and still not be bottom Note. I am...

I am not being difficult but has anything been said to make it look like he is leaving. We know he's been watched. Yes he's out of form compared to earlier in the season but I'd imagine this is the most first team football he's played in one season and was coming back from injury. Duff has said no c...

Grimsby away isn't it? I watched on ifollow and was pretty sure but disagree Yeovil looked like had extra man. If thats not the case, then we are probably in deep trouble. I don't think so. We won't need much more than a point a game from here to stay up. 10-11 points and I would be very happy as will mean we are still moving upwards. One thing is for sure, we are unpredictable so I would be surprised if we did a full house of home wins against the teams also struggling!!

Not critisicim per se, just felt that it made us less balanced. I'd have had Alcock in back three and played Hussey from start

Agree with most of this. Lost to a well drilled team

I felt Pring was largely anonymous and felt Hussey was a waste in back three. Agree we missed Nige and felt Barnett and Varney did not click. Next four games are pretty big. Need to hope for four to six points to keep looking up!

It might be that he is just here to replace field and we may get a centre back anyway. Could be Hussey plays on left of three too. He may have developed to a centre back since Flynn signed him but also in this interview he also says he's a pacy left back https://youtu.be/p6YvvP6YJUc" onclick=&q...

Agree a lot with Robin in this thread
I don't think many changes are needed. Largely a case of improving our loans

We also need a good left side alternative to Hussey. So much about what we do now includes the balance and width he gives us. If he gets crocked again, we need good backup.

I actually really like it. I stand in the PRE and every week say "that video never tires" with the big highlights of previous years. I think part of the issue is still possibly sound linked to it as you could do a lot more with it; if the tannoy was more reliable around the ground.

I agree with a lot of your first point in this thread. I thought we played well in first half.
