I forgot Easter Monday.
We've played a playoff final on a Monday in 2002.

Re: Since being in the EFL 1999
It was, but that isn't a League game.
Hereford in the FA Cup that same season was a Monday night as well.

Re: Since being in the EFL 1999
I believe so - with Boxing Day and New Year's Day falling any day of the week, I'd imagine it's impossible we haven't. Sunday games, not including Boxing Day or New Year, include Shrewsbury in Sept 1999, and Cardiff in April 2001. Not including Boxing Day, I don't think we've played on a random Mond...

You're not wrong, but it wasn't just a CTFC thing, it was an EFL thing. As I follow all of the League 1 clubs on Twitter, my timeline was literally that ad from every single one of them at the same time.

I wouldn't.
I'm not one for nice football, but his is anti-football.
I suspect Ainsworth and Wycombe is like catching lightning in a glass. He won't have much success anywhere else.

Re: Gloucestershire football
So Forest Green have clearly bribed someone as despite admitting to fielding an illegible player, they have been allowed to replay their match against Scarborough. It will be interesting to see if Barnsley take any action against the FA for this as they did the same and were thrown out. An FA state...

Re: Mike Duff
I don't think so - he left Barnsley partially because of the travel. Rotherham would be exactly the same.
I can see him taking a break, bit of punditry on Sky live games maybe, then seeing what comes up down the line.

I don't think you can compare Duff doing a full season at Barnsley and taking them to a playoff final to Steve Cotterill leaving Stoke after 13 games to become an assistant.

Shaun North was the assistant brought in that summer to replace Neil Howarth.
I think Fuller means the bloke who called himself the Chief Scout, who's name also escapes me...I'll find it though.
EDIT: John Milton was his name.

Re: Charlton Athletic v Cheltenham Town
Took two pens to beat us - I don't think we can argue with either - and we played some good stuff. Rode our luck towards the end of the first half, otherwise I think a draw would have been a fair result. Take the performance, move on, and look to beat Rovers in 11 days time. We're a competitive team...

I was going to ask if he meant former as in played for Cheltenham before 1985, or after.
I'd guess Andy Gray, but not sure if he moved back to Villa that summer or later.

Re: Cheltenham Town v Oxford United
DC said on Thursday that there are 12 or 13 players in the squad up to the standard - Street is clearly one of those. He's not going to throw him under the bus over a mistake. If Street had form for doing this sort of thing and it was the 3rd or 4th time he'd been sent off for it, then I'd get it, b...

I think DC nailed it at the forum when discussing Wade - whilst Wade had MM in the background last year he was able to concentrate on coaching and managed the team well.
