Re: Robins Trust Email - Cheltenham Town: Building for the Future
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hp3597 Jaimie was on Radio Glos last night, talking about this. It is about 26 minutes in. Since this has gone out, the numbers of Robins Trust members has increased dramatically, and we have seen good numbers of members selecting the monthly paid option. The trus...

Re: Cycle parking at Whaddon Road
There is room for four or five bikes at the CF. They need to be locked to the palisade fencing by the turnstiles. There is no bike racks there. It’s p@@s poor. Surely this is an area that the FED and SLO need to address. That is the point. Try and gauge demand, and then supply accordingly The trust...

Re: The Robins Trust, the FED and representing fans' views
Ultimately, it is the most sustainable and secure ownership model. If the community that supports the club owns it, or holds a majority stake, you are never beholden to one person, benevolent or otherwise. Every club that has ever been threatened with liquidation is almost always down to being prom...

The last I had heard, the football league had not decided on whether or not they wanted the Saturday afternoon curfew on live feeds to return. There are arguments against it. It would open the window for Premier League broadcasts at the time as well, as any block out is an FA rule for all football. ...

RCS - that depends on your definitions. 1) There are a limited number (I am not sure exactly how many) shares in the club. Of these, 1,885,952 had been issued at the date of the last confirmatation statement. When the trust buys new shares, they come from the bundle of unissued shares. 2) When the t...

Can Cheltenham League restart before Football League
I tried to analyse how the restart of football (and sport generally) could happen, for another forum These were my thoughts: As I see it, football can be divided into four types. From bottom up 1) Grass roots - anything below Step 7, and many of the Step 7 Leagues 2) Semi-professional - some Step 7,...

Re: 2018/19 accounts
Duff and Varney won’t be cheap. Not Reid. Ultimately, any profit in lower league football has to be viewed as great achievement. I suspect you can count the other profitable clubs on two hands. One Hand - Port Vale, Luton, FGR, Newport County and Yeovil - although these are 2017-18 figures. Not man...

Farewell to Bootham Crescent
There are rumours that the final game at Bootham Crescent is York City v Chester on 1st February, with the new ground opening for the game against Hereford two weeks later. I was expecting the change to be later or in the close season
