Re: Cheltenham Town v MK Dons

Not much going forward but looked fairly solid at the back. Taylor, Freestone and Long all decent. Just wish we’d move the ball a little faster at times but hopefully it’ll improve when Alfie and Dan are back. Few idiots in the PRE booing WE at the end, not sure that was called for. That’s a shame ...

I have never said Tozer wasn’t honest nor have i insulted him. Just criticised his ability on the ball. I am chill and relaxed - my long posts are just to try and calm you down. It obviously bothers you else you wouldn’t the need to “pull up” my straight forward comments. Looking back to your and m...

Re: FA Cup draw

What I don’t like is stupidity. And mistaking ‘recognising strengths and weaknesses’ for ‘inconsistency’ is stupidity. Long is a great CTFC player and his experience and fight is important. But I think he is too slow for CB and is being found out this season after one season too many being played o...

Re: FA Cup draw

Noted. Apologies. I didn’t realise nuance wasn’t allowed anymore. Players are either good or bad, and anyone who points out weaknesses of good players or strengths of bad players doesn’t know what they are saying. As for Ire? I have no ire with Tozer. Nor am O deriding him. I just made a throwaway ...

Re: Back us - WE asks for fans to back the team

Please can we go out to win the game tonight. No sitting back seeing what Morecambe are made of before we start pressing and attacking. Especially if we are going to finish up goal(s) down at half time. Come on lads, let’s do it, let’s get these three points tonight! This. We were decent vs Shrews ...

Re: FA Cup draw

We were the best team in the division, with probably the best CTFC team in my lifetime. Most of that team went on to achieve the highest ever finish in the Club’s history. I have never suggested otherwise. You don't know what you're saying; just arguing for the sake of it as usual. Probably the bes...

Duff who was happy to sell him and then achieved the highest ever finish after he’d left. Would have been interesting to see if Duff gave him much game time in L1. We will never know. I personally think it would be like when Parslow and Downes were calamitous in L2 after getting us promoted. Not su...

Re: Cheltenham Town v West Ham United U-21s

Very mediocre performance. Young lads Walters and Sambu did well. Keeper looked competent.

Play slow and ponderous, Brown in the right place for his goal. Bradbury out of position a couple of times but also a couple of good blocks.

Hoping we're a bit livelier at Burton on Saturday...

I wasn’t talking about Man City where everyone was superb. I was just making a tongue in cheek commentary on his usual weekly mistake. Re: FA Cup draw

More likely 3-0 to us. One 20p headed ‘clearance’ from Tozer giving us a goal. One slip-misplaced pass combo to gift us the second, and a third on the break with Long or Adshead ‘outpacing’ Tozer after giving him a 10 metre head start. I don’t recall him making any such errors when we played Man Ci...

I've been to a few pre season and a couple of home games so far. Contemplating fleetwood but more realistic Exeter!
