Re: Neighbours down to 20
Especially when you throw in the costs of unique features like the stars, which no doubt Vince would have kept coming back to say “2mm to the left, bit golder less dark grey” etc etc. Such bespoke features on a huge production line only become cost effective in bulk, even with current manufacturing...

SR Doing well at Aldershot. Aged 31. Bet we could tempt him for another League spell. AR six goals already this season after joining Salford from Aberdeen. Too good for Conference. We have the money. We don’t have the money for Adam Rooney, he’s on 4 grand a week Story going round at the time, up t...

New team pretending to be the old team, followed by the same pondlife.
Finished 3rd in the league in their first season there, quite commendable for a 5 year old club (albeit one spending way outwith its means).

Anyone here at the gig last night at Wembley. On the overground on the way group of lads got on started singing Westlife, boyzone, east17 even Shakademus and Pliers. Funny as! Storer and Pell were always the only two league quality players. Maybe Amari too. Before the further injuries.

Wouldn't be worrying about sell on clauses here. Doubt he'll be worth eff all after he's been kicked by the L1 cloggers for half a season and sat on the bench/loaned to the conference for the other half while Nothampton get relegated.

Experience is one thing, but surely its the quality we want and until they've played a few games, that's just going reputation and heresay. I reckon Storer and as a result CTFC suffered for his stupidity end of last season. We were (what?) 8 games in before he played. Starting 11's all over the place. He's not had a sustained run was eager to impress and as such, being off the pace, got himself sent off etc. More starting 11's all over ...

Re: Generally great performance
We need to hit the byline before playing the balls across, at least occasionally. It was too easy for the plymuff defenders to clear the early balls into the middle. Wright had to be relatively static and the cb's are moving forward. Hit the byline and the cb's are moving in the wrong direction hard...

It's irrelevent as certainly Aberdeen and I'd guess Hearts and Hibs have no interest in joining the ENGLISH leagues. Nothing against Scott Brown, but his performance in the League cup semi against Dundee Utd cost us at least a place in the final and the game against Celtic before the split that same season, cost us at least a good run at the title. A 20 year old lad was brought in for the following season in Danny...

Wonder if the un-named SPFL club is the Don's. I'd imagine one of only two clubs in a position to pay a fee, the other being Celtic. We have one winger entering last 6 months of his contract and another subject to a bid from Cardiff, which might make sense of the "un-named" part (AFC don't...

I would imagine £2m would be too much for an SPL side to turn down, and chance of Championship footy too much for an SPL player to resist. Might have been true three of four years ago, but a lot of SPL sides are no longer in debt. So English Championships sides will have to pay the going rate. Unle...

Left back is one of the hardest positions to play. How often does a RB come up against a genuinely talented left footed LM, LW or LWB? How often will a LB come up against a genuinely talented right footed RM, RW or RWB? How often will a LB be playing alongside a left footed CB? How often will a LB b...

I don't often disagree with Shades opinion on footballing matters but Cranston was not at fault for their first goal. They hit the counter with real pace he had two choices mark the space and their 8 would have hit it, or close down their 8 as he did who laid it off for Vassel to smack it in. That s...
