Re: Mike Duff

I‘m surprised about the comments on style of play as the first thing he did for us was to make our game possession-based, which was quite tedious to watch initially. At times. A lot of the time the plan was ping it down the channels to get a throw then if we don’t head the throw into the net then p...

Just a simple 1 in 1 out for our development keepers
I'd wager Max Harris earns quite a bit more than Partingdon. Expect others to follow to non-league in the coming weeks once injured players return.
Surely Weston can’t afford to pay much of his salary.

I’d rather we play on the edge and occasionally go over board like Street did, than play timidly and without fight like earlier the season. Did the players getting themselves worked up and aggressive help us get on top of Oxford and win the game? Yes. On this occasion a player got carried away and w...

Great win Saturday. Amazing how Darrell has managed to get a tune out of the players. I love his no nonsense approach. I’d liken DC’s impact to Postecoglou at Spurs - both lost their star striker, both instantly improved the atmosphere and morale at the club as well as getting vastly superior performances out of the same squad of players as their predecessors did. Also similar in that Spurs are a better team now th...

If we’d sat back and let Oxford come at us and build their confidence it could have been a different outcome. You don’t get to second in the league by being a poor side. Our ‘attack and press’ tactics from the start put them in a situation that they struggled to cope with. It will hopefully now giv...

Reasonably even on shots, and possession is a poor indicator of which team was on top - I wish they stopped reporting possession stats because people pay far too much attention to it.

To me this argument about the price is that people are getting value and worth mixed up. You may value something at one price but it is only worth what somebody is willing to pay. If nobody wants to buy then it becomes worthless. But in this case the price was set by the seller before any buyers ma...
