Re: Harrison Sohna

Seems to have some pedigree but left Sunderland in 2023 so wonder what he's been up to for the last year. Feel a bit sorry for the other 2 if we always wanted more experience at the back and most likely at least one biggun up front which Moore doesn't seem to be. Soccerbase suggests no games played...

Presuming like me they are ST, but I take your well made point. going back to a previous post, when do we get to 'go with what we have' It was the 500 Club who paid for the pipework, not ST money… ST as in Severn trent Ah yes. I was just making a quip about water companies in general but point taken!

Nine days have passed since the vibes momentum made it obvious England are winning it, so it’s annoying waiting. Just give us the trophy already.

Re: Former opponents

Bringing it back to CTFC, wouldn't it be great to have a player (I'm looking at you Jordan Thomas) who nets a similarly spectacular sum of money for the club in transfer fees and future sell-ons? Even 10% of a future sell-on would be £2m out of a £20m deal. And £20m is modest in Premier League term...

I don't know what Labour's position on PR was - but I suspect they are likewise against it, now! PR would doubtless result in more hung parliaments, making any legislation difficult. I personally have never been in favour of PR as a replacement for FPTP. Problem with PR is that it is completely dis...

40% of the British public didn't even vote so they have no right to any opinions, hereafter. The people who never accepted a 52% win on a 72% turnout a...

Sorry - should have been clearer, Crewe have offered Baker-Richardson a deal I just looked it up and it seems he's unlikely to sign a new deal at Crewe and lives in Coventry. This is what I think too. Make the line say 15cm thick, anything within that line you stick with the on-field decision. That would require an on-field decision to be made. Current protocol is for the flag to stay down so as not to stop play, and for VAR to then check if a goal is scored. Tha...

Denmark have been absolutely robbed by VAR. First a goal ruled out for being a toenail offside, then a penalty awarded to Germany for a ball smashed into the defenders hand from point blank range. For a relegated team, we actually had a pretty decent set of players, it was only a chaotic summer and start to the season that sent us down. In terms of team-building there was no need for an overhaul, so it‘s really disappointing to see pretty much the whole squad break up. It‘s a very risky stra...

It's not necessarily incompetence of the board. Remember, he wanted to go, he made it clear he was off. He wanted to go in January - to the extent that the club's hand was forced. What this shows really is that scoring 20 goals for Cheltenham Town is not the same as scoring 20 goals for Charlton At...

I’ll reserve judgement until the knock-outs. There’s an argument that doing the minimum possible in the group stages to qualify is beneficial. I seem to be going against the grain then because I'm weirdly confident.
