A Wigan, Blackburn, Sunderland kind of club - where difference between £1m and £1.5m is probably not massive could get the bidding up

I think the club's finances would make going full time difficult so realistic ambition is stay in the league. Could see more ex CTFC players moving to the Moors - Penn would be obvious.

Tremendous performance keeping the Moors up. Bottom with 11 points in mid November when he took over. Secured status with a 2-1 win tonight away to,second placed Tranmere. Still part time. Carter, Stoz and Sterling James started tonight. Great performance to keep them up. Needed snookers when he too...

Agree with a lot of his. Cannot criticise a sale of Mo if it yields £1 million plus - good for club and player. And in a moderate season the decision in August to give him an extended contract was a master stroke. Brilliant move. No prospect of Iliad signing for us. Far too good for league two. If w...

Have to say the sense and honesty from PB is just great to read. It is really difficult to take objection to anything he says in the article.

Looked decent enough, but not someone who was an obvious championship player, let alone Premier league. Suspect a somewhat better player now than 3 years ago

The articles refers to the Lincoln v Macclesfield game being in 1988 ? Surely more like 1998 ?

Don't make the assumption that if he is sold the money would all go on replacement(s). Seems to me we are not necessarily stronger than last year - losing Waters is a blow. Having 100k, 250k or more is not much good if we lose a player of Pell's class and struggle again ; I can see us struggling at ...

Under the headline "Could Cheltenham Town's new signing be modern day Ian Wright?"
That has to be one of the most tenuous links ever - we buy a player from Greenwich Borough.

Re: Could we see this man back in 2017/18?
Always felt many fans looked at Dillon through rose tinted spectacles ; proper geezer who did wonders for morale, but as a goalkeeper his distribution was truly awful. I thought Flatt was very solid, and he will be two years more experienced. Whether there is anything in this however is unclear. The...

Re: EFL cup draw
In around March I heard an interview from a senior guy from checkatrade, the previous sponsors, the gist of which was all the uproar and complaints about the competition meant it got far more press coverage than they anticipated, and accordingly much more brand exposure than they thought
