Re: Referee for Carlisle

Wouldn’t surprise me if there is a pitch inspection tomorrow. My back garden is in the shade and has been frozen solid last few days. Ok we’ve got frost blankets at WR but they are only effective if it doesn’t get too cold. I expect Carlisle will be making their way to Cheltenham tomorrow so an ear...

Can confirm Troy Deeney has been dismissed from his coaching role at FGR. Players refused to play for him.

Re: Referee for Carlisle

Anyone know if the frost covers are on? It was -5 last night and forecast to drop to -7 tonight. Things will warm up (relatively speaking) through Friday and overnight into Saturday, but that will be a deep frost in the ground. Not certain that it will thaw in time. 4/5 degrees warmer going into Sa...

Re: Done deal

Gutted for clarke But financially that is a great success for the club. Making 380 grand profit on a player in a year Stoke will get at least 25% of that. I think letting him go is bonkers. He won everything in the air, improved greatly and probably in the top three Cheltenham players of the season...

GOODWIN'S REPLACEMENT.

Tomorrow is the 18th, January. Not a single player through the door. If there is no replacement for Goodwin by Saturday then expect verbal protests on the terraces #SackTheBoard

Re: Done deal

We might well not have "needed to sell" (my lowercase) - but if Oxford offered to double his salary don't you think the player concerned might have had something to say in the matter? Would you want a player here who makes it clear he wants to leave? I don't do hypotheticals. The facts ar...

Re: Done deal

Very disappointed as we’re disrupting a team that was playing really well. to be fair, the last time Goodwin made any significant contribution was the Orient defeat on 16th December. Went off injured after 4 minutes at Carlisle and played the first half at Northampton, a game we lost. Potential was...

I find all this very worrying, we appeared to have turned the corner under the leadership of DC and given ourselves a fighting chance of escaping relegation. So many players have improved since his arrival, and Goodwin most likely the one who has improved the most. I find it utter madness that were...

We don't need to sell. If we do then we need a replacement ready to go and players are not exactly running to WR at present.

Got to keep a eye on the board, because I don't trust them after the Alfie debacle.

The maxim of 'no loyalty in football' has been proven once again.

This is concerning, wouldn't be surprised if Ashley Vincent takes the role.

The turnover in staff, suggests something is wrong.

I feel sorry for the real fans. There’s about 500 who are the core, who love that club, who’ve worked tirelessly to keep it going. They have more in common with us than they have difference. Everyone can see what’s coming. The circus on the hill just descends into the inevitable. They’ll go bust; t...

When will Dale realise that his project has failed and walk away.
Building a stadium eight miles from the hill in Nailsworth and with a failing squad of players, Darlington comes to mind.

Re: 5,941

We do seem to have a glass ceiling where we can't get over 6000 for a league game but as others have said that's very likely down to the lack of seats. If we had bigger capacity I'm sure overall attendance would have been higher tonight, is it worth maybe putting a temp stand in the paddock/canteen...

For me, the two yellows were correct. Never give a decision to any referee. Silly from Williams.

A very damaging result. Lots to do to pick the players up for the Xmas period.

Pretty sure Andy Gray signed for Aston Villa before the start of 1985/1986 season.
