Re: Surely not another 30 pieces of silver

I'm guessing tomorrows result might swing it one way or the other. We noticed those blocks weren't sold out on Tuesday, despite the hype around how important the game was, so I understand waiting to see which side is likely to sell more to some extent. I hope this gets brought up at the forum on Th...

Re: Surely not another 30 pieces of silver

Peterborough's website only saying they have been allocated 1,055 tickets in the Hazelwoods. Club hedging their bets again maybe? Do they think people arrange their lives around their procrastination's? If they don't value my support or money, it's not a problem. Totally agree, the club should not ...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United

If we find ourselves drinking in the last chance saloon with 20 minutes to go, I wouldn't be averse to putting Shepherd up front. He looks like he has something about him, enjoys having the ball at his feet or head, doesn't mind running at people and has a strike rate to match any of our currently f...

Re: Surely not another 30 pieces of silver

Rovers ticket page says they have sold out. attempted to buy 7 tickets for the last game in the CF today, but no joy as it exceeds the number available, so can only presume the clowns have decided to give blocks 7 & 8 away again and deny home fans seats. Looks like I have been to my last home m...

Re: Teams around us - Thread to season end

A very pleasing result. Posh are looking unbeatable at the moment. Have they got any of the other relegation strugglers that they can take easy points off……….? As it stands they’ll overtake Derby if they win their two games in hand and improve their GD by six, and then get automatics if they beat B...

Re: Huff n puff but no quality

The way to deal with big lumps, is to get them having to run around a lot more. That solution resides with us and lumping aimless balls forward is not the way to do it. I think they look fitter, partially, because they are having to do a lot less in a match that our players have been

I was at the game. The ironic jeers he received were in in sarcastic jest. One of the tallest and most athletic players on the pitch only won 2 headers...both unopposed. My 14 year old daughter would best him in the air. I became frustrated too...when he stopped jumping! We all like to be melodrama...

Re: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United

A poor result and another poor game of football we've seen this season despite win or lose. Despite being in L1, feels like the amount of competitive games we've seen down WR have been severely limited other than Wigan, Reading, Oxford, Port Vale and Portsmouth. There will be a good handful of club...

Whilst on the subject of strikers I thought the abuse nuttall received last night was well out of line. We started with 3 up front yesterday Horlick and none of them looked like they knew how to play with each other. Surely not another 30 pieces of silver

With a match in 3 days and blocks 7 & 8 of the CF still blocked out. Are the board still thinking about who to sell the tickets to??????
Surely to God they wouldn't have the stupidity to give them to Bristol Rovers??? If they have, it is feet up in front of the fire for me

What has happened to Sloggett? He looked good against Oxford and Barnsley but has disappeared since, is he injured or what? Desperately need some fresh legs in midfield. Was thinking the exact same. Re: Squad rebuild this summer

The problem we face is that if we lose players like Freestone, Bonds and Lloyd then financially we will struggle. They came up with us from League Two and will still be on wages closer to the League Two level. But to replace them with proven League One equivalents will mean players who want wages c...

Yep Kelly looked useful - height, combined with physical presence & mobility. None of our forwards offer any of that. Sorry but I think Keena is done, I see no reason to keep him at all. Let him go back to a level that suits him (Irish League). Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. Maybe League ...

Been a regular for approx 20 years . I’d say, that was up there with one of the most powder puff performances for such a critical game . Against the lowest side in the league, already relegated . Question 8, I think the labelling should be different as it doesn't really make sense for some of the responses. The answer is easy? So all the refs give up and we don’t have anyone? Well that would be great wouldn’t it? At youth level the local FA I feel tip toe around young refs as they don’t want to lose them, even though some are a PITA! If I had the inclination I would trawl the internet to see if any le...
