Re: TOM SMITH
Johnson's building a good side by the looks of things. Let's hope all the fools that brought dinosaurs to the Crewe game demanding "Johnson out", and all the similar fools on here that have done the same this season, or longer, are man enough to admit they were wrong about GJ if this does...

Re: Why....?
Maybe his priority has been to make sure the club makes a profit. Hence the square pegs in round holes and cheap ineffective loanees. Didn't we make a profit of £100k the first season back in the league? We may have made another profit last season as well. Maybe the budget has gone up. If this is th...

Good luck to him I say. We'd all do the same in similar circumstances.
Maybe another season muddling along in the bottom third being continually played out of position made the choice an easy one to make.

Re: Fourth signing confirmed
Or maybe Pell got fed up with being played out of position. He was settled here. If we played to his strengths he would probably still be here. Should have done more to keep him in my view and I'm not talking about more money. Build a team around him and Atangana and we could have gone places Ben To...

Re: Fourth signing confirmed

Funny how some of us are happy to dimiss Pell. He and Winchester will be difficult to replace.

Thank you Paul Baker
What a credit it is to Paul Baker that the club he hands over to the new chairman is in such a good financial position. There's even the added bonus of a little bit of extra money coming in to push the club forward. Paul has sourced a replacement who is enthusiastic, local and has the clubs interest...

We do not need a new stand yet, there is no point ripping it up and building a new one to increase capacity when our attendances have been average, we need to spend a decent amount on players next season to make sure we're competing at the right end of the table, results on the pitch should be Chel...

.and who can blame him for going? Continually played out of position. You mean his first start after 4 and half months out injured, an injury that initially ruled him out for the season. He gave away two penalties before being substituted. He clearly wasn't match ready. Blame Gary if you want but imho he's average at best, a liability at worst. Not the kind of player...

I think the club have tried to sort his contract situation out. There has been an offer
o the table for some time but he clearly wants to move on. Some players are not
content to muddle along in the bottom third of league 2

Too many armchair supporters little mo. Relying on Facebook, the internet and 'someone I spoke to who knew someone who went to the game'. Quick to comment on here without the facts. Excellent interview by Peter Matthews 'Have you got the drive and energy to do that Gary?' Most pertinent question of the lot We've had two disappointing seasons. I struggle to see the quality in the manager anymore. I will forever be grateful for what Gary did but things have gone very stale and I can't see
how they are going to improve next season.
Despite the low expectations of some people on here we are not destined to be relegation fodder if he leaves.
We need a young hungry manage with a point to prove.

Shocking today. Sellars is far too lazy to be in our team. Unless he is willing to sit on the bench majority of next season i just wouldn't offer him a new deal, he's far too predictable as he's so one footed. As for Pell. If we get offered 200k again for him ill drive him myself... no point in kee...

We have three of the best midfielders in this division but Gary consistently plays two of them out of position so he can find a place in the team for Sellars. Christ - wake up and smell the coffee! Although Harry hasn't fired much this season, when he's been able to play to his strengths in his best position, he has been effective, especially when makes those rampaging runs at the opposition. Play Mo up front on his own and play your best players out of position. It's been chaotic all season
and still no recognised right back. Will this somehow improve next season?
