Agree a good target man for Varney to play off.horlickfanclub wrote:I doubt Waters will be coming unless Cobblers pay him off. We should be looking for something different. Addai and Lloyd can do the Billy job.

Re: PB says GJ sacking "crass"
Worst thing to ever happen to our club was Paul Baker stepping down, I believe we wouldn't be in this situation now if Mr Baker was still at the helm. He would have made sure we got the players in and always backed his managers. I'm gutted Gary's gone, some people need to take a long look at themsel...

Re: Questions for the board
Indeed. The Board statement was things had to improve and big strikers were needed. Well results improved with a summer recruit coming on after missing two games with injury and scoring, and it appeared that signings were on the way which must now be in question. Apart from that positive change wha...

Don't agree with Kalala's rating, thought he didn't do a lot, he looked absolutely knackered at half time,Addai deserved at least a 8 along with Forster and Mullins.

Alex Addai
Alex Addai has got to be one of the first names on the team sheet for me, his pace scares the pants off defenders and is skilful with it, he's not that big but is strong in the tackle and holding the ball up, crosses a good ball pity we haven't got a experienced forward to play off him, my choice fo...

Re: How many players do we need now?
Totally agree Robin, I've been to 4 of the pre season games and without Mo we are very light weight up front, the French lad looks a prospect but he's no where near where Mo was this time last season. I think we need a experienced C.F. another 2 forwards to go with him and a creative midfielder.i th...

St holder for last 18 years but been going since 1963ish, go to as many away games as my health will allow me to.
