All the best Dan.

Hope you get fit, bang in 15 goals, and come back to help our final play-off push in the Spring.

A great shame. With Gordon crocked this is a risky move. It could be the best thing for Dan to go somewhere where he is appreciated. Boreham Wood will be a team to watch now.

Best of luck Dan. Hopefully will get firing again like was in the Champions season and return and do the same for us this season.

One entirely agrees with this sentiment, as it is a risk letting Dan go out on loan. His last appearance v Exeter showed he was rediscovering his touch and in top form he is a most potent striker. Good luck Dan and come back bang in form for CTFC, where you will be warmly welcomed.

He will only be back if he converts to centre half.

Is it that much of a risk?

Gordon seemed to come off the bench to play on the wing, and we have 4 other forwards at the moment. Holman needs games and goals to get his confidence up. I said on Twitter today that form is temporary and class is permanent. We all know what he can do and a fit, confident Dan Holman will strike fear in to League 2 defences.

He can be recalled in a month, they have 4 league games in that time and an FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round (I assume Holman won't be allowed to play in that game). If he gets a few goals in those 4 games then we can always pull him back in time to spank a couple of goals past Scott Brown at Wycombe. Win-win.

Why even attempt sensible discussion on here?

I suspect we may have seen the last of Holman at CTFC, if we truly wanted to get him fit this would have been only for a month not three months.

Is it really surprising that he's not doing the business in league 2? Why do you think he dropped down to the conference in the first place? Seems obvious to me. Good luck to him anyway.

Someone who scores 30+ in the NL should be perfectly fine in L2. I do still think he could score at this level but being injured for pretty much the entirety of last season and this season so far has meant he hasn't had the chance.

Meanwhile we have two players supposedly not "match fit " starting today.
