Never been before, but wondering what their away allocation is (usually) like?

For the FGR away 'derby', there weren't enough away tickets for the amount of away fans that wanted them. Just wondering if I/we need to be worried about the same at Swindon, and whether it would be beneficial to buy tickets early to avoid missing out altogether, given it's another local derby match?

No indication on the website that tickets will be in high demand or that they will be limited in number.

FGR demand would obviously have been higher given they're even closer to them and it's the first match. Don't think we'll be anywhere near selling out given our away form and position in the table. AFAIK we didn't sell out in what was, at the time, a huge promotion game between us that we lost 1-0 there in 2012.

We usually take around 1000 but away end holds 2500 so plenty of space, suspect we'll manage more like 700 or so this time though.

dont forget your bankloan for the ticket (assuming they still charge £25)

Not quite. The Arkells Stand away section hold 1200. The Stratton Bank behind the goal holds an additional 2100, but they won’t open that for us.

When did we last take more than 1200 to a league game? Can’t see tickets being a problem.

Had Duffy scored we would have got top three, of that I am sure. I was at a stag do in Edinburgh and remember the despair which I oozed when I read about the penalty.

We were behind the goal last time I went, pretty sure Spencer scored a worldie, must have around 1500 there as behind the goal wasn't too busy having filled the arkells.

Also I'd imagine we had 1200 at FGR this season.

Wasn't that about 2003?! That's 15 years ago, Robin...

Probably I've been 2-3 times with CTFC, I didn't go the last time as I was away the weekend.

Paul Benson scored the winner for Swindle that day.

When Spencer scored his worldie we won 3-0 on a Tuesday night and we only had just over 700 there. Our support at Swindon is pathetic given it's 45 minutes away. That said, they'd bring 3000 to Cheltenham to watch their annual humiliation at the hands of the real Robins!

I remember we took even fewer in torrential rain in our last season in L1 under Allen - we wee at the end of the home stand alongside the pitch and behind the goal wasn’t open. We dominated the game and Westlake was the best player on the pitch by miles. But we contrived to lose and relegation looked on the cards despite excellent performance.

Probably something to do with their extortionate entry prices.

I live about 8 miles from the County Ground and have never been for precisely that reason

Guess they have to try and stave off their next financial disaster somehow!

Really! I was there that night and I thought we had a much bigger turnout than that. We were directed to the Stratton bank because the away section in the Arkells was at capacity. The Stratton bank was far from full but far from empty too.
