Could be worse, you could be a Bournemouth fan and have to pay £65 for a friendly against Real Madrid!!
Prices for the friendly have been set at £60 for adults, £45 for concessions, £30 for under-16s and £80 for executive seats, with a £5 reduction for season ticket holders!!
Now there would be a reason for moaning!!

I like pre-season games. Nice and relaxed and a chance to see new signings and how the pitch is doing. Ten quid to see Cureton net his first hat trick in Ruby isn't too bad.
If they gave me a tenner l still wouldn't watch the Glos scum.I think its an insult we are even playing them.

Their pies are outstanding.
Cant imagine there being an away end at evesham or ciren. Thhere will probably be more of our support at those two games

Please. This almost looks like a neil comment!taxidave wrote:But you are a Gloucester lad so you should support your team.Chelt Luke in Glos wrote:Looks like Im the only one then...
Lets be honest theres at least 2-300 fans like me who live in glos but support cheltenham. My grandad whos going with me can support Glos if he wants! Then again he has never been to a football match before

I deliberately and carefully chose my words, have I said anywhere in that sentence that you should support Gloucester City ?Chelt Luke in Glos wrote:Please. Fair enough I can see you meant no harm, got to admit though i would of thought a lot of people would want to attend after all how often do we see a derby and a derby that cheltenham will almost certainly win every time these days and if it helps Glos pay the rent that money comes back to us so surely it would be ideal to attend?

Thing is Luke it's a poor standard of opposition and a high price to pay for a training match. A lot of our fans do not see Gloucester as meaningful rivals anymore therefore I think a lot will struggle to get excited.
400 home fans plus the full 200 from Gloucester is my prediction. Doubt we will take more than 150 up to Kiddy either and they too are historic rivals.
