Never heard of him either. Assume he will just be cover.

That page apparently doesn't exist...?

We've taken him on because Macc are struggling financially, but he can play left back or left midfield and will "bomb on".

Being from non league and his loan ends on jan 1st i would think its a view to a permanent deal if he impresses?....judging by maccs financial situation we will pick him up for pennies.

From a quick web trawl... Ex-Peterborough, joined Macc last summer and has done well - but with their finances in a bit of a state, they've been eager to cash in on him and get him off the wage bill. There was a lot of Football League interest in him after impressing against Bolton in the cup, and he was on trial with Colchester until recently. Loan is with a view to a permanent deal.

They signed him from Sutton Utd this time last year and his performances prompted an extension in January of this year according to their website.

Sounds promising...

25 years old so it's not a bad age either. Guessing it will be just as cover to start but if he gets a sniff and impresses it may prompt Yatesy into a bid as Macc's financial situation. Time will tell I guess.

Win-win really. If he impresses us, then great - if not, no problems he goes back.

I'd love to see a complete list of all the MY/NH signings. Blimey, he must be on a 90% success rate.

Left-back/left mid hybrid could be just what we need. I reckon this could end up being similar to the Jombati signing.

Excited by this, hopefully he'll turn out to be another hidden gem pulled from the depths of non-league football. MY stating that a number of League One clubs were showing an interest can only be a positive thing!

No. He is a loan signing, probably quite cheap, and it seems to be a win-win situation.

Wonder if there is a future transfer fee included?

Oh dear Leo, you have shattered an illusion, as I was under the impression that all players tried to do that.

sounds like another Sido type player. Does this put Lowe as centre back cover rather than left and right back cover (ie Lowe on the right, Sido on the left when there's no Jones)

Why do you assume that Lowe will only be cover ??

Do you think Lowe will displace Sido (or T. Brown).

I didn't know that Cheltenham was a charity?

I would hope I would be right in thinking that Mark Yates got him as he thinks he will be an asset to the team.

Lowe has been cover these last two seasons and I expect that to continue, he's a great player to have on the bench.

Lowe at centre back I reckon.

Hopefully not. I like Keith, but the team would be weaker with him at centre back.

I'm sure he'll have to feature - Troy and Stevo won't last 46 games each.

And when he does he will be solid as always.

Lowe has always been a bit dodgy at centre half in my view, fine league two right back though.

Imagine Mark Halliwell's thrilled with this signing-his name just rolls off the tongue....

I'm a massive Keith fan but I do agree with Robin, he always looks a little dodgy at centre half but he is a solid right back.
