Interesting quotes, especially in the context of our summer thread about the prefabs etc:

"We are closely working with the council on ideas for the area generally because the prefab area on Cakebridge place will be developed soon. We need them to be mindful of us with land for a new stand and possible access from Prestbury Road so when it goes ahead, it won't jeopardise our potential scheme."

"We need to find a partner to come onboard to take floor space, student accommodation maybe or a gym...... private funding will be needed. That could be a benefactor or a commercial entity and we don't want to borrow huge amounts of money to do it."

I think the 2,500 - 3,000 figure is what PB mentioned before when talking about an all seated stand. If they could incorporate terracing then I'd imagine something like a double decker In2Print with 2,000 or so seats in the upper tier and 2,000 or so standing in the lower tier

I was hoping for at least 3000 ideally 4000 otherwise the Championship is never a realistic ambition.

The championship would never be an ambition while we played at WR.

There is no further scope to develop the in2print or hazelwoods.

Yeovil's capacity is only a couple of thousand more than ours, I am sure they are going to give it their best shot.
Increase the Main stand by 2k and another 500 in the LMI and we are up to Yeovil's capacity.

We struggled to sell out the home areas for a one off game vs everton, our capacity is bigger enough now for championship football.
