Wonder if he went to the same public school as Eduacated Bertie.

Anyway second Football league game in charge, his first game he showed 5 yellows and sent off Darren Carter.

Yellow minimum for Russ tomorrow then after winning a perfectly fair but hard tackle and yellows for both centre backs for making bodily contact with Plymouth strikers.

At my alma mater, one was educated not eduacated. Left that to the oiks at the secondary modern.

He was my fag. Officious type. No wonder he has become a "man in the middle".

Still, can't be all that bad, if he dismissed that unsatisfactory, and "he who wanted away", Carter.

Looked out of his depth. He was afraid to make a decision in the first half. Gave an interesting free kick to them when Brown was kicked in the head, which indirectly lead to their goal. I don't think that the big bald centre back should have been booked in the first half, but he blatantly barged Gillespie over when he was last man.

He bootled it in the 1st minute when the defender put a stopper on McGlashan
You could see him say it was early in the game so dont do it again
He then missed to or 3 bookings before they scored and was trying to get back the game especially in the second half
But we cannot blame the ref for crud

If that challenge had been made any later than the first few minutes, it would have been a yellow card every time. It should not matter when an incident occurs, the response should be the same. Otherwise everyone would send someone out in the first minute with instructions to put a reducer on the danger man. Weak officiating, but as 51/84 says, not to blame for defeat today. Abject performance.
