I have been in a dark cold cellar for the first 45mins on my own with Duran Duran playing upstairs. I want to cry, but thinking of the cheap pivo I'll be consuming in large amounts in the very near future.Ralph wrote:this looks poor Mal.. 0-3 and its not half time..the Arse v Villa game is keeping me entertained
It's shocking... Sido is nowhere to be seen in defence; the midfield are being outplayed; when they have the ball, they're in acres of space; when we have the ball, there's an Albion player immediately in our face with a second waiting for the scraps; their no 10 is making Stevie and Troy look like Sunday League players; and they've scored three really good goals.
The one bright light in our team has been Gillespie.

I didn't go today purely for the fact Baker is happy to rip his loyal fans off and its happening far too often crawley now this! Disgusting.
Just watching the Arse v Villa, Villa just gone 1-3 up and the Arse fans are chanting @you don't know what your doing@ at Arsene. They even had the camera find 2 "Wenger out" bannners..
Got to agree with them, all this talk about Rooney, Suarez etc and they sign no one and have the highest price ST in the Prem.. could be an interesting season. I said on here last season that he should of stepped aside last season

I am giving myself a few games off now (minimum). Today was a bitter pill to swallow when I'm being charged £23.
Bakers loyal fans have been rewarded with great value in their season tickets. Crawley was 2 for 1 on tickets purchased prior to match day!cheltsaxon wrote:I didn't go today purely for the fact Baker is happy to rip his loyal fans off and its happening far too often crawley now this! Disgusting.

I was a season ticket holder for about 15 years. I gave up a few years ago because I felt the pricing had become, to a degree, a rip-off and was clearly aimed at exploiting the sense of loyalty/obligation that the fans generally have.

Ah i cant be a loyal fan than as i dont have a season ticket
didn't get a season ticket this year as will be missing to many games, but did get FAN membership saves £2 a game although cost £10 so saves £10 a season, this £2 is a bit like the parking in town now, wont pay £2 to park so will not spend £30 out shopping.

As nobody on here is privy to the negotiations that went on between us and Crawley regarding what price to charge for that game I think it is unfair of you to say that we were happy with the resulting fare structure.TheRaven wrote:'agreed between BOTH clubs' states that CTFC were perfectly prepared to go along with it. Or they wouldn't have agreed. I nearly used the word 'complicit'.

when you spend £10 on FAN membership you get £2 discount off any ten league games.

Try and keep up at the back, he was referring to parking the car and shopping.rasta wrote:£28?RegencyCheltenhamSpa wrote:Spend £28 instead?rasta wrote:didn't get a season ticket this year as will be missing to many games, but did get FAN membership saves £2 a game although cost £10 so saves £10 a season, this £2 is a bit like the parking in town now, wont pay £2 to park so will not spend £30 out shopping.

If they weren't happy with it, they wouldn't have agreed it. The clue is in the word 'agreement'. If you're going to get semantic and say 'but they may not have been HAPPY to agree it' the question has to be 'why agree it then?'.taxidave wrote:As nobody on here is privy to the negotiations that went on between us and Crawley regarding what price to charge for that game I think it is unfair of you to say that we were happy with the resulting fare structure.TheRaven wrote:'agreed between BOTH clubs' states that CTFC were perfectly prepared to go along with it. And also, you brought the word 'happy' into it. I said 'prepared to go along with it'. Unless you doubt that, in which case I suggest you look at the final ticket price just to check.taxidave wrote:As nobody on here is privy to the negotiations that went on between us and Crawley regarding what price to charge for that game I think it is unfair of you to say that we were happy with the resulting fare structure.TheRaven wrote:'agreed between BOTH clubs' states that CTFC were perfectly prepared to go along with it.
