I will be attending the game along with around 1500, I am wondering will you all be wearing the CTFC colours, although I am a passionate fan and attend a majority of the game I am unsure (for safety reasons) whether I should wear my shirt due to the reputation west ham have, so I want to know will you all be wearing the CTFC colours? I most likely will as I can't see cheltenham having any issues although I will feel a little unsafe while doing so.
Thanks

If youre going with 1500 people why would it matter? Of course some of 1500 will wear CTFC shirts. When was the last time you heard of ANY trouble from West Ham fans?! We ain't Millwall!

Yeah just I know a lot of people will be drinking and it only takes a few people to start something, anyway it wouldn't be out of the picture for west ham hooligans to react

I've had confirmation from an old-school West Ham acquaintance that it's all going to go off on Tuesday. They had a dust up with Millwall a few years ago with 1100 Old Bill on the streets but that is going to pale into insignificance in comparison with what's coming up in the Capital One Cup Second Round this coming week.

Just to be extra careful, I'm going to try and blend in with my best Burberry cap and T-shirt....

Then I suggest you don't wear any football colours and you don't walk with a crowd. Also, you should maybe not go to the ground.

While on this subject, the most threatened I've ever felt at a match was after we'd played at Carlisle, mainly because there were under 100 of us and we'd stolen a point in the last minute. We were on our own in a crowd of them. Seems pathetic looking back on it because there was nothing about them.

Or maybe it was being alone on the train from Spurs with some ultra Chavvy Spurs fans who were eyeing us up. Felt like an *** ****** was on the cards that night.

Poster just sounds like a kid trying to find out the ins and outs of following a football team, either ignore him or give him some slack!

As CTFC_Cheltenham obviously missed Admins post to him last week, i'll repost part of it
now if you would like to let me know which of the three login names you would like to keep, I will delete the other two logons that login from the same IP address as yourself.
Which name do you still want to use CTFC_Cheltenham? :)

I'm sure your less likely to find trouble if your wearing colours a lot of so called 'hooligans' want go for anyone wearing colours unless of course your mouthing off or disrespecting someone which I'm sure you won't.

I have heard there is Cobra meeting planned to discuss public safety due to the high chance of trouble.

OK - so for the genuine question, does anyone know what colour we're actually playing in given that west ham's claret/sky blue home kit clashes with our home and away kit?

Blue and black kit is third choice. http://www.ctfc.com/news/article/2013-1 ... 36676.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
