Forums always go into meltdown after a few losses. I suggest that everyone have a beer, and review in the morning.

Must admit, I don't want to look at the league table (and haven't). That said, it isn't that important at this stage.
What a ridiculous statement- there hasn't been signs- playing well for 45 minutes goes for any team, in any league. Cardiff beat man city so they should finish top- is what your kind of saying by that. Lets face it We've had an awful start which needs to be turned around. Billy jones in I say! Faith in Yates!
Got to love the doom mongers! Yes we have had a totally unacceptable start if we are still near the bottom this time next month the possibly we should sack Yates however if you cannot see the individual quality is there in mnay players you cant be wathcing the game for long.
From Nesty's fantastic CTFC history site:
11/08 LEYTON O 1-1
18/08 LUTON 1-2
25/08 MANSFIELD 2-3
27/08 SWANSEA 2-2
01/09 TORQUAY 2-2
08/09 SHREWSBURY 1-2
This was the first 6 results of a big season for Cheltenham, 01/02. This came after two near misses when we just missed out on the playoffs.
At the end of the season we finished in our highest league position since winning the Conference (and overall in a single division in the Football League) and ended up winning promotion and getting to the 5th round of the FA Cup.
The point of this, to show all that 5 bad games at the start of the season does not a season make. Yates turned the club around from the laughing stock it was under Allen and more than deserves a shot at turning a bad start around. Who knows, maybe our traditional February/March slump has come at the start of the season rather than the end.
