A friend who lives in the USA just tweeted me to congratulate CTFC fans after reading this and seeing how low down in the table we are.

But isnt that table wrong? Havent we got a couple of banning orders in affect at the moment - wasnt there a big discussion on here about it.

No idea. Three arrests shown on there - maybe that is them? Though a club can ban someone who has never been arrested.

I think one of the people you refer to is a local lad but the incident was not at Whaddon Road, wasn't he a Leeds fan, and the other one will probably appear in this season's stats as his/her ban applies to this season.

Got to love this one - The Mirror stating hooliganism is on the rise etc, and using a picture of trouble at a foreign ground, the like of which you never see in England, to sensationalise.

Statistics often get twisted to show 1 thing or the other, yes the police may have made more arrests, but does that mean Hooliganism is on the rise, NO, it just means the police are taking action, where as in the past people have got away with it. Take for example the use of the 'Yid' at White hart Lane, has been used for decades, now deemed as not acceptable and arrests will rise. But it always went on.

Because they had a massive brawl at one of their games, or something like that. Plus the town is full of chavs. Which is why stats don't tell the whole story.

it would be interesting to present those figures as a % of average home support
