All of the above were part time when we won the conference, but pick any 11 of those and I honestly believe they would thrash (yes thrash) any 11 you want to select from the present squad, even though they only trained two nights a week. Says it all for me really.

Keith Knight made over 40 appearances for Reading, not bad for someone you consider was never league standard.Robin wrote:That team is no where near comparable for ability. Freeman, Knight, Smith, Eaton were never league standard for starters.
